I am a native Floridian so I love the water and beaches. I believe all good relationships start with a foundation of friendship (but also with chemistry, of course), leading to a more romantic relationship.I have been sky diving, but need to go again; I am SCUBA certified, but it's been a while and I want to get back into it; I went to school in the SE and studied some out of the country, after hard work to get there; my parents are originally from NYC, with Irish, German, English, and Spanish roots;; I have worked with the military in the past; I enjoy traveling; and I have been around the US and other countries for work and vacations.I am looking for a STRONG person...someone who is secure with themselves.. and that comes in many forms;.. did you ever stop to think maybe your soul mate wasn't placed conveniently right down the street for you? Imagine that.. :-)Besides there being a natural chemistry between us, I am looking for someone who is kind and generally happy and comfortable with themselves. As with everyone on this site, there is so much more to me than meets the eye. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a fun-loving, active, real (genuine personally and physically), kind and classy woman who is looking for a man with similar qualities. When the occasion calls for it, I can be sassy but in a spirited and fun way, never mean.Eventually and if things click, I would like a long term relationship ....so if you are not (eventually) hoping for the same or if you don't read profiles, please look elsewhere. I could not specify this on the options line but mine are green/blue. (Green is the most unusual eye color in the world and in many cultures is said to bring good fortune and good luck.) Hope its true. =)Health and fitness are a huge part of my life! Although I am not a gym rat and prefer to be outside being active rather than inside the gym... I would love to meet a man who is active, and believes in healthy living who might want to go to the gym with me sometimes. Although I have nothings against drinking in moderation/socially, I do not drink often or much and don't need it to relax or have fun. I hope you have a similar attitude. The best thing in my life is my children. I have two boys who really bring it and I am very proud to call them mine. They are older and although we do things together, I do have time to make new friends and to date.Although I am not looking for a saint, and don't claim to be one myself, I am looking for a good man... I am looking for a relationship with a man who is single and a classy gentleman. I prefer a strong man of good character (meaning you TRY(not expecting perfection) to do the right thing even when no one is watching) someone who I can respect who is available emotionally, stable, smart, fun, and fit. It would be great if he is on the tall side,(or at least taller than me) as I am 5'6", slender and have been told I have a ballet dancer's but with curves body. ( I like to wear heels, too!I) I love great conversation with educated and interesting people who tend to run deep. I am not a superficial person but value what really matters in this life. This does not mean that I am all seriousness, as I love to be light hearted and to have fun too! I am a true believer in the healing power of laughter. I believe we are all here for a reason and that life is meant to be enjoyed. Look for the positive and find joy in the journey....Life is very much a journey not a destination....I want..........to thrive not just survive! And have FUN!As far as music goes, I love all different kinds. Listening to music and going out to hear bands, concerts, etc. is a wonderful thing and so is a night out dining, dancing, people watching, seeing a play as well as a night in watching movies, cooking a meal together or playing board games and cuddling by a fire... now whats not to like about that?Just so you know.... here comes the part where I spray my "Player, Faker and Flaker Be-Gone".....LOL ...I am easy to get along with and I am all about mutual respect, consideration, compassion, open and honest communication, earned trust, kindness and of course, playfulness(fun). Relationships should be two people who not only enjoy each others company but have fun together. A man can expect to be treated that way by me. I expect the same from him. If you don't, you will see my sassy side.... as well as my back side ; ) walking away from you pretty fast. It goes both ways.....I adore a man with some sass and class who respects himself and others and is only into playing fun games like Scrabble, etc... not head games. TAKING A BREAK FROM meetville.. BUSY TIME OF YEAR. THANKSI'm not always online like it shows I am , I can't figure out why this mobile app logs me on all the time! Lol geez! I'm a single mother of 3 little monkeys (5,7 and ***that I have custody of. They see their dad regularly so I'm not looking to replace that for them.People always ask "what are you looking for?" well I'm looking for someone who I can spend time with and build a friendship and a solid base for a relationship. I've realized that life isn't a dress rehearsal, so no time like the present to get out there and live it! My next big adventure is to purchase a Harley in the next few months and start riding.
