I find it easy to fit into different crowds. I grew up on the family farm killing snakes, running the bush-hog and worming cows. In high school, I was an athlete and in AP classes. I was able to kick back with the jocks or the nerds. To this day I am an avid football fan. I also built my own computer. I work on my own vehicles and get my eyebrows trimmed. I love to shoot guns and to paint.I love heavy metal but I rarely listen to it. I love to play video games but rarely play more than an hour or two on the weekend. My xbox spends more time running netflix or HBO go than it does playing games.I have two small fuzzy headed people that hang around my house occasionally on the weekends. They ask me lots of questions and want me to feed them. All kidding aside, my children are smart, beautiful and amazing. I enjoy my time with them immensely.I make my money drawing custom houses. I get to be artistic yet precise at the same time. It's an interesting, laid back career.I would like to be traveling...again! Of course, there's always water parks...I don't know what it is but I love water slides and want to go back to Schlitterbahn one day. I think I have a thing for the water...because learning to dive is definitely on the list. Of course, this is not all I would like to do before I leave this Earth, I want to purchase an older muscle car and restore it.I have just begun to learn to play guitar. I don't know any songs yet but I'm learning chords and how to read music.Books: The "Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Lord of the Rings" series, Ender's Game. I typically enjoy SiFi and fantasy novels. I do read other things. I'm currently reading "Get Your House Right", a book on house design dos and don'ts.TV: I watch Big Bang Theory reruns if I can. I'm on the last season of Battle Star Galactica on netflix. I never miss the Walking Dead. On occasion I watch Swamp People, I know a couple of those guys so it's funny to watch them on television. Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef, Kitchen Nightmares...if I weren't so good at my job, I think I'd become a chef.Movies: I have enjoyed: Mall Rats, Clerks, Idiocracy, Wanted, the Star Wars trilogy, 30 days of night, Star Ship Troopers. I'll check out any horror or Sifi . I also like comedy (not slapstick so much, I don't usually enjoy Dumb and Dumber type movies) and anything with a good story that'll make you think. Punk, Metal, Rock, old country. My radio is usually tuned to 92.Food: Seafood, Steak...I eat just about anything, except sushi. Yes, I have tried sushi, I just don't like it.

I'll try to make this short, But I do tend to talk a bit, so sit back and get comfortable....New to the SouthWest Coast.I am a bit of a dreamer, with a dash of hopeless romantic. The romantic in me would like to think fate will bring us together by chance, but expecting her to just fall into my lap with no effort is a little to hopeless romantic. So this profile is my way of giving fate a few more opportunities to make that happen. I am a fairly laid back person, happy sitting and having a talk, or equally happy with pretty much any activity. After all, it is who you are with, not what you are doing. I have a pretty good idea where I am going in life, but I like to keep the details of that road a surprise. No I'm not that perfect, or summed up in a poem and a YouTube video. But they are a couple good guidelines for living life. I try to follow them.I love the outdoors, Hiking, Camping, Fires in the back yard. Most afternoons you will find me walking my dog down at the waterfront and taking her for a swim in the ocean (she swims, not me). I have recently taken up shooting and just love it.What I'm looking for in a partner. Hard thing to put on paper. Too easy to just say partner, but that is exactly what I'm looking for. Someone who is my equal, who I can say anything to, someone who can sit in silence and and just be with, or sit and talk with ease, someone who can laugh at life's speed bumps as just part of the road we must go down. I really have everything I want in life, a great job, a home, an awesome son, and one of the best dogs in the world, I really do not want for anything. But after being happily single for some time I do want someone to share all I have with, to share my time with. I do find the whole chat/message thing a bit stale and static, Just not as enjoyable as talking in person so bare with me, I do try. lolA few things about me that usually do not come up in casual conversation. - I am a bit touchy, not groping, but physical contact is a big thing for me, whether it is just a graze on the arm during conversation, or as I walk by you, or just pulling you close and holding you while we talk. - I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. No cryptic meanings, or head games. So I am looking for the same.- Age is not a huge deal for me, with the right person. If you are younger, than a level of maturity beyond your years. If you are older, Than a level of fun and vibrancy. Really just if we match than we match. - I think how we are when we are first dating, affection, respect, and just our way of being should remain through the years. Yes relationships evolve, but I feel some core things should remain the same.- Kids, blended families, and other relationship issues. I feel these things should be talked about early on in a relationship if it looks like it’s going to flourish, not after they become a topic to discuss. A hike up a mountain somewhere on a sunny day with a good breeze blowing. We find the perfect place to stop for a picnic, maybe a shaded plateau overlooking a lake. We will talk for hours losing track of the time. Realizing we have lost sunlight and might get lost we decide to camp there for the night, (I just happened to bring two tents)..... To be continued.

I enjoy movies, going out to clubs and seeing live bands, playing guitar, and simply having fun at various places. I like being a funny person and believe that humor is very important.
