I'm an elementary school teacher in the Union County area. I have been teaching for a few years and I'm not sure I can picture myself doing anything else at this point. Recently, I have been looking into grad school school programs. I'm toying with the idea of educational administration but I still want to be in the classroom for a while. If you are interested in taking walks and talking, going for a bike ride, going bowling, and eating Italian ice, then we should hang out. Seriously.I'm also down to grab a drink somewhere. In my free time I like to play guitar and I recently picked up the ukulele. I enjoy board games and cards games. If the weather is decent, I am down for outdoor Activites like frisbee. I try to run a few days a week, so I guess that's a hobby too. I enjoy reading but II mostly end up reading children's books and professional texts geared towards teaching. In my down time I like to watch TV and movies. My favorite movie is Grumpy Old Men. I enjoy a a bunch of different TV shows but Supernatural, Parenthood, Big Bang Theory, and Firefly top my list lately.I enjoy all different types of music but some of my favorite bands are Good Old War, The Format, and Jimmy Eat World. These days, I'm looking for someone who is reliable, honest, and has good head on their shoulders. I would like to be with someone where we both feel we are better people from being together.I wrote that I'm undecided about kids because I need to meet the right person to really be settled in that choice. I would like to be in a relationship that feels like a partnership first before agreeing to bring anyone else into it! I think my ideal first date would be something simple such as going to get dinner and taking a walk somewhere nice. I believe this would give us a good opportunity for conversation and allow the person I am with to get a sense of who I am. I also like the idea of something short and sweet like grabbing coffee to get a sense of each other and then having the possibility of planning something else from there. Then again, I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so I guess I would get tea.
