Hello, I'd like to start off by saying that I never thought I would get on a dating site, but here I am, in hopes of meeting new people, making friends and hopefully at some point finding.......... well you know, the same thing we all want. I enjoy laughing ( who doesn't ) and swimming, boating, dancing, cooking, most all music, especially country, working in the yard, pretty much anything outdoors, and a cold one occasionally., especially after all that yard work! As far as anything serious, I believe you have to meet and get to know a person before you know if you have those feelings for anything deeper. You just can't do that online! I hope at some point in my life to find that one special person, the other half of my puzzle. And I must say I don't do drama! Life is to precious and short for that My ideal first date would be low key, with no expectations, doing whatever makes both people comfortable

I'm an active person who likes to get involved in lots of activities. I love to play tennis, ski, go for a hike or maybe even a horseback ride (I used to own horses). I also enjoy going to see plays or to hear live music (love jazz). Volunteering in my town is another way I stay active and it's a great way to meet new people. Traveling is also an interest of mine and I love exploring new places...should be a great trip. It would be so nice to find a companion to travel with in the future. :-) My family is very important to me and I have a wonderful daughter who is attending college. I'm very proud of her and love being a parent. If it sounds like we share some of the same interests, it would be nice to hear from you... It would be nice to meet for a cup of coffee or a drink at a quiet spot. I also enjoy going for a walk just to get to know each other better.
