Boating, sailing, hopping onto a jet ski or motorcycle (back of the bike only, thankyouverymuch) are pastimes I can't get enough of. On a lazy day I'll sit outside and get engrossed in a book or my sketch pad. (Being tucked up beside you, as we laze in the sun, would be a perfect way to spend the day.) Skeet shooting, swimming and dancing are things I like to do. I'm an intermediate-level snow skier with a NAUI dive card (what a combo). And after a couple of glasses of "aiming fluid", I can shoot a pretty mean game of pool too. (Oh yeah...and I like to shop. I'm a girl. Its what we do.)Small casual gatherings are the BEST kind. (LOVE my shorts and flip flops) Old friends and new, a couple of "adult beverages" thrown in for good measure...life's "aaah" moments. Getting dressed up to go out is fun too. (Have waaay too many sexy heels to let 'em sit and collect dust.) I think hosting parties at home is even better than attending them elsewhere. (Okay, I just might root a little harder for the 'Noles...) Road trips...love 'em. Planned or spontaneous...with a destination in mind or just following the road ahead...doesn't matter. I've embraced a new way of looking at life, after starting fresh and shiny-new. Living IN the moment is the most important thing for me. Life doesn't start later, tomorrow, next week...its what we're doing RIGHT NOW...and I've been making the most of it. Something else you might want to know 'bout me (and I'm giving you fair warning), I enjoy being challenged, and I hope you do too...'cause I CAN be a handful. I'm willful and sassy, and playful and fun. I spend most of my days with a big ol' smile on my face, and I'll keep one on yours as long as we're open to each other. (But I'll bet you'll want to chase me around the kitchen island a time or two...its that dang sassy thing.)I have two GREAT kids. My daughter is 23, proudly married to a soldier, and gave birth to my very first grandchild in ***. (She's the one who convinced me to give this crazy site a try, by the way.) My son is 20, is also in the Army, and married his high school sweetheart earlier this year. (Hoo-ah! I'm a proud mama.)Oh, and one more thing, in case you're still interested: I was a commissioned officer in the US Army. (yes, really). That's it...that's me in a five minute read. Soooo...what are you waiting for? Something as simple as meeting for a drink and a chat to see if there is a spark between us would be an ideal first meeting. A nice relaxing spot, preferably outside (weather permitting) would suit me just fine. A game of pool or shooting darts would be fun too. No matter what...if its easy to converse, if we look directly into each other's eyes as we do, if a giggle or ten erupts during our exchange, I'd say yes to spending more time getting to know you better...if you agreed. (And if I flirt with you during our first meeting, trust me, you're golden.) Second date? ...bring a crash helmet...

I have been on this website for 5+ years. I have had exactly 3 dates. I am disappointed, to say the least. I don’t know what I can do different, so if you have any suggestions, other than the “take off your shirt” suggestions, I would be very interested in hearing them. I am tired of people wanting to *** forth. I don’t have a lot of time to spend on the computer and I don’t want to try to find more time for it. I truly believe that it is when you meet someone that you can really tell if there is going to be a future there or not. We can say all the right things, or blame the medium for any misunderstandings when all you have is *** want to have that face-to-face interaction with a real person. I want them to see me and my eyes when I am talking to them. Doesn’t anyone else feel the same? Let’s try this again. About me:I eat, I drink and I swear!!! I am a real woman and I like REAL food, real fun, and real men. Now that we have gotten that out of the way, let me clarify....I love food! I am not a BBW but I have curves...in all the right places. My favorite is Italian and Mexican. But I am a sucker for a good steak, hot off the grill with a fresh Caesar salad. YUM!!! I have been recently diagnosed a Type II Diabetic so my diet has changed some but needs to change some more. I am barely a diabetic so I am trying to heed the warning. I drink. I don't drink much or often but when I do....whiskey in a shot glass is just fine. I do not like wine. I don't even like alcohol enough to drink a mixed drink. Just a shot and get it over with. No phoo phoo drinks here! I swear. It is really funny how I did not swear (much) the first 40 years of my life but spend 3 years in college, with the youth of today, and there you have it, a fifty something woman who can swear like a sailor. Ok, maybe that was an exaggeration but I guess it is all relative to how much YOU swear in comparison.! I like to have fun with friends and family whether it is entertaining at my place or going to the lake or a casino. I like meeting new people, patios, live music, walking my dog and ice cream.I love real men. I love honesty, integrity, work ethic, and motorcycles!!! I love my job and I am a really positive person so I am looking for the same in a potential mate. I love men that take charge and don't let me do all the work. I love to be courted and I am old fashioned about making the first move, so if I have not scared you away, let me know. I am sure there are some real men out there. I don't really have a preferred "Date." I like good conversations and being silly with someone I am comfortable with. So, if that is how I feel when I meet someone, the "date" pales in comparison.
