I love being out doors fishing swimming going for walks playing baseball , I enjoy just being outside enjoying nature minus the spiders lol I'm not a big fan of them. I Iove curling I have been doing it for 15 years now. I feel at peace when I am out on the ice. It's a way for me to get away from stress and things that I need a break from. I also enjoy curling up on the couch at home with a good book or watching a good movie. I love cuddling and playing video games once and awhile. I also like going out to the bar once and a awhile to play some pool with friends dance and have some fun away from home.I really enjoy watching sports I tend to get really into watching a game if my team is playing lol. when it comes to music I listen to pretty much anything.10 Reasons to Date a Curler1. We can slide through tight holes.2. We can take it out when asked, and stick it back in just as easily.3. We don't mind if you scream "hard" or "harder" or "all the way" or "take it deep".4. Our tools are long and hard.5. You "wait for it to start to come" before you "take it out."6. The speed of our tools is varied by the urgency of whoever screams "hard".7. We have no problem hitting the button.8. We go strong for 10 rounds, and if things arn't quite settled we can go for another.9. We constantly put our back into it.10. When the games over, the icemaker cleans the sheets and we start again....after a beer of course !As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Got back in November from traveling for ***months in Asia, so needless to say, travel is a pretty big part of my life! Graduated this past April from UofA with a degree in Sociology/Political Science. Currently I'm working to save money to jet off and travel/work abroad. I love meeting people from around the world and try to keep my appetite for travel fed by volunteering teaching English and (before I left to go traveling) working in a Backpacker's hostel. I go out every now and then but I'm no "bar star" anymore - it's not cheap!!! It's a phase everyone goes through I guess haha. I read quite a bit and my Christmas gift this year was a Kindle, and I love it. Just finished reading a collection of a series of interviews with Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi. I would really like to visit Burma, so it is interesting to hear her views on the current situation there. I also keep up with current events, as I am a Political Science minor, and enjoy reading about politics and what's going on in the world in general.Another hobby of mine is cooking. I'm not saying I'm great at it, but I don't think I totally suck at it. I like coming home and cooking (most nights, except when I'm really wiped!), it helps the whole transition from "work to real life" thing. And I'm in a much better mood if I eat something that wasn't originally from the freezer section (although those pizzas are nice every now and then.....starting to get into the Sheepdogs, it was a natural leap as I enjoy 60s/70s hits as well and I think they have that good old school rock flavour. I like some R&B and popular country every now and then too.My goals in life definitely include a lot more travel plans, including working overseas. I'm not a "straight line" career/life path type person. I have lots of ideas and direction, but I try not to limit myself to thinking "school/career/house/family" Now that I've started out in the work world I see it a lot and don't see it as something I would enjoy...I'd always be thinking "What if I had done..." For first dates I like to just get to know a guy, coffee is always good. I like it when a guy tries to be original though!
