About Me

I love making people happy by giving and helping in any way I can. I see life as you should have as much fun as possible while you're here. You only live once. Fun to me is being with the people you love and being able to do what you want with no worries. How nice is it when your chillin on vacation and still being paid. I am on the right track to financial freedom. I am serious to meet someone special and I do not want to play any games. I believe in loyalty and honesty because theres no reason to lie. I am very generous, but dont take that as a weakness. . I always look at the positive things in life because anything is possible. In order to succeed you must have the right mind set and thats why I never say I cant do it because you can. I am a photographer that mostly works with events, weddings and Corporate charities. If youre interested in knowing more about me, shoot me a message.

Man. 58 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: woman. In age: 48-68

Well, are y-o-u the one?Okay, so you want to know a bit more about me, eh? Let's see, here... what's the best way to do this? How about I make it a bit more interesting for y-o-u, the reader? Well, I'll try... wish me luck! Here goes!Since I'm an Aquarian (not a big deal to me, but others live by the Zodiac), I'll let Penelope tell you from "her" point of view. In Greek mythology, she's Odysseus' wife, so she should know LOTS about him. And, since most "traits" attributed to Aquarians are derived from Odysseus (I had to look that one up!), AND since most of these traits sorta match with what I'm about, I thought the "story" should go something like this: James (that's me), king of Ithaca and leader of the Trojan War, wandered around for ten years before reaching home. [I'm not really THAT lost, but mythical Odysseus actually did that!]While I was a-wanderin', Penelope longed for my fairly nice, finely chiseled features and my slender figure. [Well, Penelope actually longed for Odysseus... but I'll take credit for the rest if she wants it that way!] She also longed for my handsome but somewhat soft features. [Okay... ]Being a gal of few words, Penelope did have a few to say about me [and, of course, Odysseus!].[Now ladies, if you wanna know more about me, pay attention, here... ]She thought that I have a unique [absolutely!], quirky [mmm, hmmm... ], creative [ok... ], stubborn [well, not always!... and not impetuously so], challenging [that's what some tell me!], supportive [genuinely so], inquisitive [curious and analytically so], entertaining [sometimes... when in good company!], progressive [subtly so], stimulating [hmmm... I'll let you ponder this one!], nocturnal [well, I do get up awfully earlier than most!... and, can enjoy the night on those "special occasions" when sharing good company--if ya know what I mean!], and independent [but not selfishly so] character. [All that's pretty complex, but it's pretty accurate, too!]Then, she went on, saying that I'm unconventional [she knows me well!], sometimes detached [yep], intellectual [I try], objective [ALWAYS], individualistic [sometimes], inventive [of course!], tolerant [a must!], rebellious [absolutely!], sophisticated [of course!], future-oriented [can't go bad with that!], friendship-oriented [what can I say?], humanitarian [another must], and cause-oriented [depending on the cause!].Note to Penelope: A gal who's actually caring, unselfish and thoughtful will always get my attention regardless of "looks"... got that, Penelope? LOL!I hope you enjoyed my "short story"... one that tells much about me.Now, be daring, bold, and brave and tell me a bit about Y-O-U...Perhaps, then, we can begin writing a new story... together. ~~~~~ >  ? Sept ***Update!: After 15 *YEARS* I finally got my VERY long hair cut ... a "long" (hair) story I'll share if you ask! I have "naturally curly" hair and the gals at the stylist's cried out loud watching all my long ringlets go! No new photo ... yet ... I'll leave it to your imagination ... if you're interested, give me a holler!Let's find out...

Man. 62 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: woman. In age: 52-72

UPDATE Jan ***. Hmmph, seem to be going the wrong way here. Today's BMI 26.3 with 9 lbs to go (I blame Santa) I did achieve my goal in August, but it didn't last :-( Guess I'm on the rebound (no, not that one! Been single for yonks) Better focus on my intake strategy a bit more lol.UPDATE Feb ***In the interest of staying alive, I have lost nearly three stones over the last couple of years through careful calorie counting and a bit of excersise. Got my BMI down from 31.5 to 26! just a weeny bit further to go now. Hoping for a perfect (& somewhat more healthy than I was) BMI 24.5 quite soon :)UPDATE March ***. Those pesky last few pounds are the hardest to shift! Not sure if I'll ever get there. Today's BMI 25.7. Just 5 lbs to go.I have short black hair (oh allright then, balding, greying and shaved but it used to be black!). I am just a bit quirky, but in a nice way. I'm an avid non smoker and I can't tolerate being in a smoky room. I'm not ruling smokers out completely. But be warned as you would likely get lot's of very enthusiastic encouragement to quit :-) I'm deffo not a boozer, just an odd glass of Stella, Scotch or red wine now and again. I can take it or leave it. I am squeaky clean, quietish, VERY touchy feely, sensitive, honest and reliable. I have to admit that I can be a bit backwards at coming forwards initially, but am fine once I get to know someone (so maybe you'd better break the ice with that first message!). Whilst I love to see animals in the wild, I am not a great fan of household pets. So if your ethos is "love me love my dog", then sorry but I may not be your 'perfect' man. My negatives are probably procrastination and just sometimes, I worry a bit too much. I am the original Mr "what if" :***However, I'm aware of these defects & I do aspire to be a bit more happy go lucky about stuff generally. Heaven forbid I can even be a bit spontaneous when that rare mood really grabs me. I have been divorced for many years and am ok with that. I have had a few steady relationships since but find myself single again (as you do). I'm happy enough being my own boss but I do miss some nice feminine companionship and that unique feeling of 'togetherness'. I have slowly learned over the years that to try and give pleasure is way more satisfying than just taking it. I truly loathe arguments and whilst I can stand my ground when needs really must, I do try very hard to prevent them. Good communication is vital to me. I enjoy regular swimming, gentle walks. Some photography, a tiny bit of motorcycling, the internet and fresh air are my hobbies. I love gardens, but am no gardener, though I could possibly become a bit more interested if encouraged by my new lady friend. I don't mind mowing the grass now and again.I have literally zero interest in football, or pubbing with the lads etc. I would much prefer female company as just a one on one with that special person. Have to admit I am a bit of a home body too. I swim very regularly (2 times a week) to try and keep fit. I left the rat race a good while ago, so have some time available. I am quite into anything technical/scientific and am pretty good at fixing most things. I get a buzz from fixing stuff that would otherwise probably just end up in a landfill. I have a great grown up son ***who lives away. I prefer to dress quite casually but not scruffy and love to wear jeans mostly (well I was a 60's teenager - still am!). I can scrub up OK if the situation really dictates that I must. I hate it when people use abbreviated lazy textspeak everywhere as seems to be so popular. Keep that stuff on yer mobile eh? Why abbreviate when there is no need to? If you are curious to know a little more about me, please lets have a chat. No obligations either way.I can't answer this as it depends somewhat upon what you like too! Whatever we both feel 100% happy with would be good. Something simple and relaxing where we could chat easily. Maybe a stroll in the local park or meet for a coffee or similar.I think I would like to meet a girl who is perhaps a bit younger than me. I would probably prefer someone who enjoys the really simple everyday things in life. I would go wobbly at the knees for a nice feminine curvy yet reasonably trim woman:***I know, typical bloke lol). I don't think that's being shallow, just plain honest. I believe some physical attraction is important initially, but also compatible personalities are vital and the chemistry must be there too. Loyalty and trust (both ways) is essential to me. I believe both should have their own 'me time', interests etc. I don't crave a 'let's live together' relationship, at least not until we both knew with absolute certainty that it would really work. I prefer to meet someone nice & local. Ideally within a 5 mile radius but certainly no more than 15 miles max. If you got this far, thanks for reading all this waffle! Good luck with your fishing!
