Living here in S.D.) keeps me outside as much as possible so I don't have any indoor hobbies other than reading when the mood strikes me. I'd rather be enjoying outdoor activities (exploring new areas, restaurants, tourist destinations, music, theatres, etc...) I retired from the Navy in ***, still relatively young. At first, most define me (prior to a few drinks, haha) as reserved and observant... I'm definitely far from perfect, have made my share of mistakes, open minded & occasionally impulsive. I have a wide social network of friends and that is the most important thing in my life at this point. While, I am a little over 40, I don't feel or look like the traditional 40 something of my parents' generation, and attribute that to good genes, good diet, and lots of exercise. I love music in all forms and listen to everything from House, Electronica, Top 40 R&B, POP, Jazz, Ez listening, 70s-90s rock. She is someone who takes pride in her health, fitness, and appearance. I like girly girls that get their hands/feet maniucured and just like being feminine. Her enthusiasm is infectious and grounded with a strong sense of identity, purpose and independence coupled with a desire to also want together time in balance. I enjoy spending down time with her but she should want her own space like me (once in a while) that gives both of us some time to retain our identities, and miss eachother a little at the same time. She is someone who garners respect and makes a good impression on others. Most importantly, she's open minded and has unwaivering integrity.Ultimately, I want to find someone for friendship that is undefined at first that will naturally evolve as our friendship does the same.
