Hey Hey!!!! I'm new to the dating thing. Wow, what do you say? Well basically I'm looking for a good man. Someone who ls fun, respectful and has a good sense of humor. Someone who can be goofy like me, if thats possible. I don't want any games or the drama that goes with it.I'm a good girl. I have my stuff straight. I have a great job, a wonderful family and even better friends. I like watching football on Sundays and spending summer weekends at the beach. A first date....it should make a lasting impression.

I am not gonna spill all the goods online for just anyone to check out. I love my job and my mom. Life is too short so I try to make every day count. If you are a weirdo, fugly, have bad intentions or think its a long shot, please don't waste my time...and yours.DesiderataGo placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ***; they too have their story.Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;and everywhere life is full of heroism.Be yourself.Especially, do not feign affection.Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.~Max Ehrmann ***something awesome!!!

Please note: if you have a bunch of shirtless pics on your profile or no pics at all, please don't waste either one of our time. I won't reply. That being said...I have been called, "a really cool girl," "honest and genuine," a bit "old school," a "tough cookie" and a "hard worker." I think all of them are true. I value honesty and goodness over anything else. I always tell the truth and would hope for the same from the people that are close to me. Being a "tough cookie" comes with my profession. I am a middle school English teacher and if you have any experience with teenagers, then you get it. I absolutely LOVE my job. I did not become a teacher for the summer vacations because believe me, it wouldn't be worth it. I do what I do because it just...fits. It's not easy, but very rewarding, TOUGH! So I guess that's where the "hard worker" description comes from. In terms of the "old school" description, I think that old fashion values are underrated. There is something to be said about chivalry on a man's part and affection and attentiveness on a woman's. I will never get tired of a man pulling out a chair or running ahead to hold a door for me or bringing me flowers "just because..." As for the "cool girl" label...I don't ask. I'll just take it! I'd like to think I'm cool. lolThings I love (in no particular order): classic rock,THE BEACH, a positive outlook (you get what you give...),cheeseburgers and beer, roller coasters, quiet confidence, , my dog, a great bottle of wine, kissing, running, a great, comfy pair of jeans, really spicy food, Sunday morning breakfast, boats, high heels, laughing til it hurts, pure kindness, sunrises, thunderstorms, The Beatles, workin out, cooking,(I'm quite good at it) amusement parks, tattoos (I have 4 small, discreet ones)I'm looking to find someone to share the fun and excitement with, a partner in crime, best friend, lover, and ultimately, eventually find "the one." I'm at the point in my life where I'm happy, I'm settled and I'm ready for something more than just another first date. I'm not a serial dater or into endless *** texting. I believe the best way to get to know someone in this crazy online dating world is to send a couple of ***, exchange numbers and make plans to soon meet for coffee or a drink. Why waste time with anything else?So if you are a serial dater or just looking for someone to fill up your weekend with, I'm not the girl for you.I would die happy if I could live at the beach, travel to exciting places a few times a year and have a really good cheeseburger and a beer every now and then. Actually, I'd like to go on a mission to find the best cheeseburger in NY. Any suggestions? I always think a quick meet at first is best...a cup of coffee always works to see if there is any chemistry. If there is, then we can plan a real first date, but let's chat first. You can tell a lot by a telephone conversation. Look forward to talking with you :)
