I am also a total science fiction/science geek. I read voraciously, both for school and pleasure. The last non-school related books I had read were: Vandanna Shiva's Violence of the Green Revolution and Closing the Food Gap: Resetting the Table in the Land of Plenty by Mark Winne. If your social and political views are shaped or influenced by mainstream media, such as Foxnews then I am not your guy. I do not drink wine, so wine tastings are a no. Nor do I drink coffee, but I would love a hot- A walk through local gardens or parks would be nice. A bike ride or hike locally would also be pleasant. Basically something simple, quiet and brief to see if there is any interest or chemistry.

Anyway, just like the ladies, there are those of us in the male species that have had prior relationships, and yes, we've hopefully lived and learned. What the 21st Century has taught me (specifically online dating) is that there are an awful lot of dishonest people out there.
