Wit and public interaction do. I can get along with just about anyone I meet and you must do the same. You won't find me stuck to your side every time we go out. I value personal space, mine and yours. I want someone that will challenge me and allow me to continue to be independent but will also know when to be thoughtful and courteous of my needs. The littlest things will go a long way and speak volumes. Grand gestures are only necessary for special occasions or if you royally screw up ;) and vise versa. I'm not needy or materialistic although I will appreciate being put on a pedestal randomly. Someone that feels the same is ideal.I am very generous, thoughtful, selfless and caring. However, if it is not reciprocated you won't see that side of me. Being taken advantage of does not sit well with me and I will loose interest.Laziness and selfishness will annoy me quickly and the relationship will not last if that is the person you are. So I never thought I would actually be trying out this whole online dating thing, but yet here I am. I have a master's degree in forensic psychology and I'm currently working on my doctorate in counseling psychology. Don't let that scare you, I have better things to do than analyze everyone I meet. In my free time (when I'm not studying) I love watching horror movies, hanging out with friends, running, and cooking among other things.If you're an ***hole or you have no personality, you need not apply, I can get that type of interaction at a bar. I'm pretty outgoing and I can typically handle myself in just about any crowd of people. My pet peeves are bad grammar and people who misquote movies. Sure, dinner and a movie are great, but you can't talk (at least you're not supposed to) during a movie.
