If you have children, I would welcome them with open arms. I was 7 when my mom married my dad (step-dad), and I understand the single parent situation from the child's perspective. I also understand that your children are #1 in your life, as they should be. I am not interested in a dead beat dad.If its warm, I would love to go to the lake. Fishing, boating, walk on the shore, I'm not picky just anything at the lake is perfect for me. If its cool, maybe dinner or visit over coffee. I dont feel that a movie theater is the right atmosphere for the FIRST date, because we really dont get to know each other. This is about getting to know one another and see if we are interested in pursuing a relationship, whether it be as friends or more, only time will tell.
