BBQ's w family and friends, getting dressed up for occasions, or just to wow my man, Lucky Jeans, reading, solutions, massages, working as a team. We get a drink and talk about the usual introductory topics. As we feel comfortable with each other and want to learn more, we decide to take a stroll by the river just talking and finding out about each other.Before we realize it the sun is beginning to get low in the sky, so we decide to go to El Vez and have a bite to eat and perhaps a Martguerita. The conversation continues to flow easily and naturally as we enjoy the setting sun and the company.We both decide we would like to see each other again and you walk me to my car. When we get there, I turn towards you and you put your hands on my hips and we gently kiss goodnight. Both of us leave with a song in our heart anticipating our next encounter.Okay, so that might be a one in a million first date ;)~. Meeting for a cup of coffee or a drink, with no pressure, just to see if there is chemistry and a natural flow between us is a-okay with me :)

I'm a huge Bears fan, I prefer a pub to a club, my political views lean more towards the liberal crowd. I like lots of different music, except for rap and really really heavy headbanging metal. I believe everyone should go to a Jimmy Buffett concert at least once, if not more. It's as much fun as a person can have without breaking any laws. Fins up!!! Yes I was raised Catholic but I don't attend church anymore. I lean more towards good karma rather than misguided dogma. I believe there is more than one road to the Divine. I haven't had good luck dating people who aren't fairly "local" (actually I haven't had good luck dating at all!! lol) so I tend to avoid that frustration now. when I get these "so and so" wants to meet you, I take it with a grain of salt, someone saying they like my picture. I usually don't respond unless someone actually writes to me. Just an FYI. by the way, I've been transitioning to a more plant based diet. so I won't be going for a steak or a burger on a date. He's my best friend and we walk all the time on the bike path!! He gets me off the couch just like a best friend would do. She died a couple of years ago. but thanks for your interest! Rent the DVD if you want to experience an "older woman". The Graduate is a great movie!POF made me choose a word to describe my personality. I chose hippy but I think it's supposed to be hippie, lol, like... peace signs, getting back to nature, etc. oh well. And, I'm actually 58. I hate that they required me to "post my intention, i.e. dating or relationship, etc. If you put "dating" it makes you look like a serial dater. if you put "relationship" it makes you look like you're hunting for a spouse. I'm doing neither of those. It would be nice if I meet someone nice but I don't have high hopes. I haven't even been meeting or dating in a while. I have some things that I'm trying to improve about myself. I've worked 12 hour night shifts for the past 5 years and I've put on a few pounds that I'm not happy about so I'm trying to get them off. But then again.... if someone doesn't want me at my worst, they sure as h*ll don't deserve me at my best. ; )
