I like to make people laugh which can often be at my own expense but just because I can play the fool doesn't mean that you should treat me like one! I haven't been in a relationship for more than ten years partly because of bad experience and partly because I've been too busy! I'm a carer to my Mom who is in her late 80's and I also have my son every other weekend. I also do the school run every day. My son is now 16 so I'm looking for genuine friendship and hopefully more. I'm not interested in 'cyber' it does nothing for me. I don't do bullsh*t and I always say things as I recall them so I don't ever have the problem of remembering what I said. I treat people as I would like people to treat me and wish that the rest of the population would adopt the same policy, it's not rocket science. If you ***'s messages and lack the decency to reply to people then you will probably get what you deserve. Manners cost nothing. I'm very caring, honest and trustworthy. I don't drink alcohol and I don't smoke as they have already done their damage. The downside is that since I quit smoking almost 7 years ago my weight is increasing. I'm hoping to try to deal with this but a recent peritonitis and blood pressure problems haven't helped. Age and looks are fairly unimportant although I do like people with a little 'oomph'. A good personality and sense of humour is all that's needed. I don't have much to offer other than friendship, love and affection. What more do you need? All it takes to impress me is honesty and good manners!
