About Me

Having relocated to Florida, I'm in the process of a new life chapter on my 16 acre little slice of heaven. I teach riding and train horses. actually, I train people. :). I am independent, 99.8% of the time have a positive attitude, a good communicator, have a great sense of humor. I believe you need to work for what you want in life and am not afraid of trying new things, meeting new people or getting up to sing in front of a bunch of strangers. I'm a type A personality but non-confrontational and hate drama. I'm the one people call when they need talking down from the proverbial ledge. I help people when they are in need and am a good one in a crisis. I am certainly not a person who shies away from change- I think it helps mold you into better shapes. we are all works in progress depending on which direction you chose to go. I have 2 sons (in photo) who have already graduated college and are out on their own and in compensation, I have 2 dogs and 2 horses. WARNING:Horses are my passion. if you dont like horses, or are allergic , we won't be compatible. however, if you ride, extra brownie point!! I'm Not afraid to get dirty - there's often hay in my hair and a horse rub stain somewhere lol..working with horses that's a given-but fear not. I do shower regularly and can clean up well enough to knock your socks off for a night out. I'm hoping to meet someone who is sincere about wanting to meet and form a relationship that starts out as friends and hopefully turns into something strong and real and long lasting. I do have preferences to men who are between the ages of ***'s who are on the tall side and who keep themselves in reasonably good shape.Kudos if you know are in any way mechanically inclined and know your way around a tractor :) a few extra lbs dont matter, but if you cant get up off the sofa we aren't going to be compatible. I happily welcome single dads but my breeding days are over. I'm thinking it'd also be a good idea to like horses. dogs too. I'd love to share my dream with someone but will be going it alone until then.You could say I'm picky and I wouldn't deny it. I'm not looking for ordinary, I'm looking for extraordinary. I'm not the type to spend months and months typing back and forth. I believe this online thing should be a means of introduction and not the venue in which we get to know each other and I will write if i think we could be compatible. As a side note, "hi" , May be a perfectly acceptable opener face to face,but is a lousy conversation starter as an *** when it's the only word in there. So for example,I say hi back, then comes how are you, I say fine, then what? How was your day? Which day are you referring to? The day you wrote or the day I read it?And this can take a matter of weeks.oy. What made you decide to write? What's going to make you stand out a bit and make me want to write you back? Just some constructive advice. Onwards. You are willing to make a phone call to get the ball rolling.You are looking for a relationship but know that one date does not a relationship make. you have a job that you like but it doesnt consume you. you're romantic and funny and intelligent. you don't obsess or sweat the small stuff and save big guns for your big battles. your actions back up your words and you are a man of your word. you're taller than I am by a few inches- ok, the taller the better lol. Most of all, youre tired of the online dating scene and would like to get off this thing once and for all.
