All my family are Italian and I learnt to speak conversational Italian as a child. Went to visit family there this year for the first time in over 22 years and it was a wonderful experience to meet old and new family and friends. I am interested in meeting people who are getting on with things, learning to live their life and enjoying it... People who like the act of curiosity, willing to ask questions and give answers that others are not always expecting to hear. Started hiking this year and its been quite good fun and enjoyable. I also study classical guitar which has been a wonderful thing for me. I am interested in meeting someone who is fun, does not take life to seriously and is just enjoying themselves as best they can. Yes, I do smoke but I am working on giving this up, but it is a struggle. I have also been working on improving life this year. Lost about 25lbs, slowly getting fitter and healthier and feeling the difference. It is like an open door to enjoying life. This doesn't mean that I am turning into a health fanatic. I still enjoy a good beer and a burger, and other good food. Speaking of food, it is an important part of my life. I live to eat but like to eat well and not eat huge quantities. So, if you are a picky eater you may not enjoy going out to diner with me. Food, you have to do it, so do it well. A first date? Could be so many different things. Depending on your interests and mine it could be a happy hour drink, a reliable coffee somewhere, a walk around a great park. Maybe diner or a simple bite to eat.
