I'm a motivated, active guy looking to plant his feet in the eastern townships. I've got a great sense of humor and I'm particularly good at laughing at my own nuances.; a town that never allows one to cease adding to their outdoor to-do list- I always manage to find new spots to hike, climb and canoe. However, as much as I love the Kootenays and the people, I grew up a lake--which to me feels more like home . When I'm not outside, I tend to spend most of my free time practicing cheesy love songs on the guitar, cook in-consistently good spaghetti and casually aspire to one day make my own hand-crafted beer (apparently this takes years of pre-sampling). I should also mention that I periodically annoy my roomate by singing in the shower and I'm slightly hooked on peanut-butter (trying to quit) so if your allergic, we might not work out.Currently, I'm wrapping up my Environmental Planning studies and finishing a certificate in Solar *** plan on moving on to a degree in environmental engineering technology, with the intent of starting a renewable energy company in Quebec. Let me know if you want to chat!

Hi there! I tried this before and well needless to say I'm back, oh well...The real funny part is I still don't know what to put here haha. Nice to meet all of you seems like a good start :) I find it kind of silly to sit here and say I do this or I'm like that, just the whole sitting here saying "I'm this and I'm that kind of person" seems a little big headed...So lets try to do this with minimal usage...not gonna lie it's gonna be hard though I'm single (Duuh lol!), . If you see me out I'll be the one with the silly smile on my face at every little thing...oh and you wont find me downtown boozing trying to get into every girl's pants because that's just not me. Friends and family mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. I've recently discovered this wonderful thing called a gym and I try to get there ***times a week. So far, so good! (I know some people are probably reading this going the gym is far from wonderful...but I like it). In the end I just want to make people smile; whether by my sincerity, or but my stupidity. I'm just looking for someone to be happy with who I can enjoy spending time with. Well that seems like a decent start, if you want to learn about the I am's then you will just have to message me and form you're own opinion. Hope to hear from you. Well I would like to say something unique, but given the nature of first dates I would most likely lean towards something simple in a relaxed atmosphere so no one has to worry or stress. Hang out at a Timmies, a few games of pool, or a nice walk down by the river seem like good starters. :)

I'm studying to become a green builder/renovator, or something similar.I currently work in a nice little Greek bar.I'm vegetarian leaning towards vegan. (Damn you, goat cheese.)I like camping and music festivals. Particularly together.I play video games and tabletop games alike. (and Cards Against Humanity!)I enjoy yoga and other self-nuturing activities.I rarely take the subway. I ride my bike all year. Both nature and the city are vital to me in their own ways.I'm a bit of a touch-and-go art-ish-t. (Not to be confused with artist.) I've dabbled with clothing, jewelery, painting, sculpture, writing... I find it all interesting, but nothing sticks. Right now I'm into silly LED-lit sculptures and pondering how to incorporate electronics into other art forms. I know... it's a very burning-man sort of pursuit.Social justice is very important to me and it's been a personal challenge coming to terms with my triple-dose of privilege, especially considering I come from fairly poor means. I have trouble seeing most things without the lens of class warfare. Umm, I don't know. The right first date can be a lot of different things depending on the person. I don't mind just getting a pint at a fun little bar with nice music, and talking about whatever comes to mind. But movie dates can be exciting, too. It gives you at least one thing to talk about after. (Although if finding something to talk about is that hard, the date isn't going very well!)Someday I'd like to try rock-climbing as a first date. Probably in the summer though. And I've never been rock-climbing. Maybe it's terrible. OOH! Going to the island would be nice! First date ferry ride! Yeah! Or maybe just randomly riding bikes around some area of the city neither of us know.
