Looking for: woman. In age: 41-51
I am a 44 year old fella and I'm very happy with where I am in my life.I've decided though, that to have someone to share it with, would make it that much better. I'm looking to expand my experiences with someone special. It's my hope it turns into a long chapter in my life, whether it's a chapter of friendship or more (both would be preferred) has yet to be seen. Things I value include integrity, intelligence, but not taking yourself too seriously and definitely having a good sense of humour. People who know me would say I'm loyal, reliable, and a little bit of a smartass. That and they would probably also tell you I'm pretty laid back.). I am probably the only Canadian boy that doesn't know how to skate but I do plan on learning...someday.I am a bit of a nerd but wear that title proudly.Travelling is something I love to do, but don't seem to get to do it enough. I think most people would say that too, unless they travel all of the time. I love pretty much all music, but Pop/Rock and Jazz are probably the two (three?) genres I listen to the most. And of course, family and friends are extremely important to me. Anyway, if anything about me intrigues you, drop me a note and we will go from there. I'd like to hear from you.

Man. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: woman. In age: 38-48
Changing up my profile a bit as I may have been giving off the wrong impression. To get the baggage out of the way, I am currently going through a divorce after 18 years of marriage. Apparently there is a huge stigma to being friends with and/or dating a guy going through a divorce. I am living in my own house with no involvement with my soon to be ex spouse outside of our 2 children. More baggage is that as anyone going through a divorce knows, we are not allowed to date....and I am no exception. I am on here to find friends and to slowly develop a relationship (either great friends or a life long partner). I am a guy that lives by moral and rules and have no plans on one night stands or shenanigans of any kind. I am, however, trying to make friends and hopefully find someone I can share my and my kid's life with. I've been told that I am an acquired taste as it takes people awhile to realize that I am who I say that I am. That I truly value morals, integrity, and live my life in a way that apparently most people do not. It doesnt seem odd to me as I surround myself with likeminded people as untrustworthy "truth telling impaired" people find other pastures. I have a variety of interests, however, I spend most of my non working time ***years as a Sr Project Manager) with my 2 boys living vicariously through them :-). Any of you parents out there know what I mean, haha. As my profile indicated, I am somewhat of a "comic nerd". I enjoy doing family oriented things, which leaves out bars, nightclubs, and other places like that. I enjoy sitting back with friends drinking socially and left my drinking days to high school and college. Friends would tell me that I have cliff clavin (been called "cliffy") qualities as I have requisite knowledge of some odd facts. I have a thirst for knowledge (anyone with kids knows you get random off the wall questions thrown at you from time to time) and have crammed my brain full of "useless" knowledge. My personality is described as goofy and I love to laugh and have fun. Thankfully my boys and people I am around like typical kid humor and I do have that in large supplies. I working in the mortgage industry (read stuffy) and like to crack jokes and put people at ease to get things done. Not a work-a-holic, but am always ready to do what needs to be done to get the job done. I understand the importance of hard work (in and out of the office) and want my family secure and taken care of. I value my families security as a priority and want them to feel and be secure. This also goes for the person that chooses to spend their time/life with me. As far as the woman I am hoping to share my life with, she needs to be a believer (Christian). I tried to make a marriage work with a non-believer and while there were a number of other issues that caused it to fail, the "unequal yoking" played a large part and I dont want to go through that again. I am no where close to a "bible thumper" or weekly church goer, but I do hold to Christian values and principles. She must be emotionally stable, be full of life and have an inner beauty that I will know when I see/feel it. She needs to be a "Dress down" kind of woman. Nothing is sexier to me than sweats and a tshirt, no makeup and having that "light of the world" sparkle in her eye. Yea, I am a romantic. I am looking for a woman that LOVES to "snuggle", kiss, hug, smacks on the butt, and gazes across the room. As far as "intimacy", I want a woman I can emotionally and physically connect with. Those two things must be in sync. I am not perfect, but when I find the one that meets all of this, she will be perfect for me. I am not a jealous guy, but I do not want to be one of many. I would hope the woman that I invest my time in would also have that same hope for me. I am "old school" when it comes to relationships, hold the door open for a lady, manners, etc. Fem-nazis and "girl power" please do not reply. Please do not confuse this with me believing that women are subservient or something crazy like that. Its that while I love a woman being my equal, this crowd tends to belittle and think that they are better than men. I dont do well with those types of women. I am respectful and expect the same treatment. If you think I can live up to your standards and you up to mine, please message me and we can see where it goes. I would hope that our friendship would allow me to learn your interests and I would plan something that would be memorable for us both. I like to take charge, but do so with the knowledge that you would enjoy what I had planned. With my Project Management background, I would plan it out to a "T" and as the date unfolded would derive my pleasure by watching you enjoy yourself with whatever we ended up doing.
