Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 43-53
Hello, and welcome to my profile. Je suis à l'aise en français et en anglais. I am editing my profile to specify that I tend to be initially attracted to dark skin men (black, hispanic, etc.). Not a deal breaker, I have dated white/caucasian, but felt I should specify to avoid disappointments. I tried meetville a couple of years ago, now back again. I really do hate writing profiles, but I'll do my best. I am a single mom of two teenagers, boy 15, girl 13. We have a dog, a handsome boxer. I work for the federal government and love my job. I enjoy cooking, BBQing, reading, movies, the outdoors and travelling south. I like various types of music, with a special fondness for latin and similar beat music. I like to dance to those as well.I am open to casual dating, and hope to eventually find the one. I will leave it like this for now and add more later. Thanks for stopping by! Open to discussion...

I am still relatively laid back, pretty active, and make killer guacamole. I have a great life here. I love my house and garden. I live in a great neighborhood. My job is interesting and I have a fairly flexible schedule. I have lots of friends and can pursue my various interests with them. Yes, I keep myself busy but that does not mean I cannot make time for the right person. Here are some of the things that are important to me. I really enjoy music, primarily roots rock (alternative country) and classic country. I learned to play bass a few years ago and have played in a couple bands--who doesn’t want to be a rock star on occasion? I’m a pretty good athlete. Now, I run with my dog every morning (he is very lazy so there is more walking than running). I like to ski and am looking forward to the time when my nieces and nephews who live out West are old enough to ski. I can’t wait to teach them that “speed is your friend.” I have a bike and have pretty much been able to keep up with anyone I’ve ever ridden with. I’ve run half Iron Man triathlons and three Marine Corps marathons and got decent times but my knees can’t really take this level of training anymore. So what else? Yes, I like movies. I tend toward noir-ish, spaghetti western, and foreign. And sure, I like eating out. I spend a lot of time reading. I usually have multiple books going at once and read about a book a week. Any vacation for me needs to have a good amount of time sitting and reading. It is pretty evenly split between fiction and nonfiction. So yes, I have a lot of interests. I also understand that you don’t need to share every interest with your partner. I know that it is okay for people to spend time apart. Once you reach this point in life, you need to have well-defined interests and a network of friends. That can be enhanced by a partner but it also doesn’t matter if there are divergent interests. I’d like to meet someone who is comfortable about where he is in life and sees possibilities *** problems. He should be pretty active and prefer to be doing something as opposed to sitting around doing nothing. Finally, I really am 6 feet tall. My friends affectionately refer to me as a freak of nature. I probably am not going to get any taller at this point in my life but I don’ BBQ followed by live music
