I am reasonably well traveled, serving 6 years in the Army, reasonably well read in a number of areas, I am a people person interested in people and their interests. I have young outlook on life, always encouraging others to do whats best for them and to do the best for themselves. I still scrub up well and would like a reason to suit up every once in a while, not any old suit a bespoke suit.I have varied interests mainly within the arts, including theater, film, music (classical and modern day), fine art, galleries, live music. I also like most sport as I used to compete competitively to a good standard, however this has taken its toll on my poor body. So I'm happy to watch if you compete and be your drinks man. What to say... Well I am a single dad of two lads who are my best friends. Been raising them on my own now for a long time but they are getting big ***& ***so it's time for me to get a social life again. GSOH (a bit c o c k y to boot), self confident, educated, well traveled (love travelling and experiencing different cultures). Easy to get along with and a bit naughty. You can figure them out if we meet...lol Well that's enough of that - anything else just ask as I am pretty straight forward...What am I looking for? mmm Good question. Someone who still looks sexy to me when she falls out of bed in the morning. No high maintenance thanks. I like someone who is happy with themselves and content. Doesn't need entertained ***. If I can sit next to you for hours at times and hardly say a word but it just feels good then we are off to a good start. Don't expect constant romance from me - that seems to be on every woman's profile searching for Mr Romance. I don't do romance ***and any man who tells you he does is a liar :) Romance has it's time and place and can be small or big but to me it's the little things that count most. I am a caring bugger though. Very reliable. So hopefully that makes up for it a little when I forget to be romantic ;) I like honesty - you can be brutally honest as well and that's all good. If you can make me laugh that's a huge bonus. You may need a bit of a wicked sense of humor though. Looks are important to me but what I find attractive can surprise people who know me. I am not looking for the 10 outta 10 as to be honest - it's normally not a good package :) I love to travel as I have mentioned. Could you on occasion haul on a backpack? Eat from the tin? Sit on your a r s e waiting for the bus? lol Hey and a 5* hotel is also grand at times. What else...I'm on a roll... lol Nah I suppose that's enough for now.- she always has to live on the other side of the bloody country? Why is that? What's that all about? I love playing badminton, although my enthusiasm exceeds my ability (and yes, I’m competitive, but not overly so!) Walking; either locally or exploring the unknown is great –; spell!) and yet have the capacity to laugh at themselves and the good and the bad things that this life throws at us.I’m independent and well house trained, but not too stuck in my ways and always prepared to compromise if needs be. Going for a drink or meal with friends and putting the world to rights is something I enjoy, but I do miss that warm glow of having the person you love beside you, joining in the banter, sharing the occasional loving glance, holding hands and the intimacy that finding the ‘one’ brings. Whoa! getting a bit deep now – for those of you still reading, thank you and on a practical note I would just like to add that I own my own house (clean & tidy) have a car and a good job.
