Woman. 52 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
Hi and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Like everyone else on this site, I find it difficult to talk about myself, but here goes....I am an easy going lady that is down to earth, easy to talk to, young at heart, adventurous, passionate, compassionate and a one man woman. I have to dress up during the work week, so I like being in jeans and a t-shirt for the weekends, but can just as easily be ready to go in a dress and heels. I like camping, especially beach camping, taking spur of the moment trips on the weekend, or just staying home on a rainy day cuddled up next to my man with the fire going and a good movie or listening to music. I like the wine country, college football (fight on!), golfing (I've had some lessons but they won't let me go on the course yet (is that a bad sign???). I like taking long drives, singing in the car out loud (yes, even though I may not sing well, cover your ears!). I am not into playing games or drama. I love my job and have been at the same organization for 18 years. I like classic rock and roll music, some country, no rap, going to concerts, live sporting events, fairs, flea markets, people watching, traveling to wherever the wind blows us. I am looking for a guy who is easy to talk to, honest, funny, witty, has a great smile and likes the outdoors. I would like to find the right man who is intelligent, one who can make me laugh (love to laugh), is comfortable with themselves (not full of himself), and is genuinely a nice, honest man with integrity. I hope to find someone who can spark that fire within me. Let's meet and see if there is any chemistry. Hope to find you soon. Coffee, a drink, a place where we can talk and get to know each other. If there is chemistry, extend the meet into lunch/dinner.

What do I say first? What would be that outstanding opening line to intrigue someone to read further. Hmmmmm...I feel as though I'm suppose to sort of sell myself here and that makes me uncomfortable. I'll do my best to show through words how caring, compassionate and a tad crazy I am. I am very outgoing person with a love for humor. I love practical jokes (when you least expect it) and love to make people laugh. It's such a good medicine. I love the water and being at the beach but a good hike or camping is just as fun. I can be a tomboy when needed or dress up for that special occassion. I guess I'm pretty versatile. Family is important to me. I have 4 grown children, all out of the home and doing very well. Three are/were military and one is in law enforcement and all highly outgoing. At the present I have decided to do a little change up in my career. I finished nursing school last year but am debating on attending school again this fall to up my educational degree. Not sure if I want to throw myself into the boiling pot of studying again. Returning to school "later in life" isn't all that easy. I was a teacher (pharmacy field) for years but felt I needed a change. Economy hasn't been too friendly to vocational teachers. "Back in the day" I worked in emergency medicine. I gave up the crazy schedule to be a more devoted mom and help run the home. Four kids took a lot of time and focus. I love to travel (yet I haven't been able to much). I have family in Germany and would love to visit them someday. I think I'm the last one in the family to leave the country. Sad, huh?As for music, well, I'm pretty open. I love the theater, going to plays, hmmmmm...not Opera though, and I'm not real big into Rap music. I love the oldies and am "attempting" to adapt to country music. Trying, at least. My sons love country so there are a few artists I really like. I was a competitive swimmer for years, a basketball coach, a swim coach and the list goes on so, yes, I love sports. I even like watching football and hockey games on T.V. (after I make all the yummy food to watch it with). I enjoy getting all dressed up and having a "Barbie moment" as much as I like gutting a fish and going camping and being all grungy. Everything has it's place and I enjoy it all. Life is too short to be picky. OK....I won't go bungie jumping. I value my spine!Well, I don't know what else to say. It seems as though every time I read someone else's profile I think, "Ah man, I should've said that. That's good." But this is who I am. I think I painted a pretty accurate picture of myself. I try and live life to the fullest and look at things with a positive approach. Wow...I leave this open to your imagination. Why give hints when it's more fun to see what you come up with on your own. Good luck, it should be fun. I'm very easy to talk with and be around. I try my best to make people feel comfortable around me.

After many high-stress years in the entertainment industry, I'm freelancing and finally have time for charities, dog sports/training and hopefully YOU. If you can look death in the eye without fear, then you might like my cooking. Just teasing; the dogs love it! If you can cook, I'll help with prep and even clean up if you're a great cook. PROMISE!Overall, I'm a person with a positive outlook and treat people as I'd like to be treated. However, those who don't observe this code may see a bit of my formidable side honed by a few years in the military. Mostly I mind my manners and enjoy life with most people never seeing this side of me.If you're still reading ( brave soul) let me tell you about my interests. An avid reader I soak up just about anything from WSJ to NY Times bestsellers both fiction and non-fiction.Musically, I favor classical when relaxing with a glass of wine - big reds. Also love 70s music.Favorite movies are comedies and action;...popcorn movies. Not really big into Indies but loved Moonrise Kingdom, Coffee and Cigarettes and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.TV -
