I am an honest, intelligent, woman looking for an honest, intelligent, man with a sense of humor and genuine desire to meet a woman for friendship and hopefully more ! Enjoy all kinds of music--especially music that brings you to your feet to dance. Rock and current music puts a smile on my face and helps me get through stressful situations as well as getting me through my workouts! Lover of anything near or on the water--love to swim, fish, boat, or party on a dock. Traveling to the ocean is a favorite vacation as well-- I have two beautiful daughters that are now grown. Though involved in their lives, they are requiring less and less of mom's time. Reading a good book, going to live music concerts, Yankee baseball games, NYC to just walk around and take in the sights and sounds, St. I also enjoy cooking, taking pictures and viewing old pictures reminiscent of the past--like to scrapbook and write. I am a very intense and passionate person who loves to do things for my guy creating mood makers and nice settings to enjoy life ! It is very important my guy is able to do the same. If you are unable to make a plan and take the lead, we would not connect in the way I am desiring. I am truly looking for my best friend and lover. No wolves in sheep's clothing, PLEASE because if I do not initially see through any BS, my close circle of friends will ! :-) My idea of a great first date happens AFTER the initial meeting between two interested people. An ideal first date to me could be many settings dependent upon moods, seasons, events, etc. Atmosphere is important--a nice fire, great music, and comfortable seating are all great enhancements so both individuals can gaze and talk and really begin to get to know each other. A great first date could also be taking in a hockey or baseball game--first and after stopping in an intimate pub, sitting in a booth having a couple of drinks, laughing and talking***ability to tune the rest of the world out and focus and talk. A great first date could be a picnic in the park, blanket spread, wine and cheese, (portable CD player with nice music playing)--again good atmosphere to talk. Actually, a great first date would be GREAT if the guy came up with the plan and surprised me!

Hi! And thanks for checking out my profile. If you got this far, I must have made it past the initial picture screening. Go me!! lol You know, I've tried all kinds of profiles. Short ones like, "Looking for a Jesus-loving biker who likes to go to concerts". I got a lot of kudos for being direct. I tried the hilarious approach, joking about my bad cooking, my quandary about being a church-going woman who still enjoys a nice cold beer, and my insane passion for dark chocolate. I got some good responses from that one. I tried a straight-forward "this is me", "where are you" profile. Crickets? Do you hear the crickets? So I have no idea where to go from here. Fall is coming. Winter is close behind. I don't want to spend the next 6 months sitting on my couch alone. I'm hoping to spend it with a fun, energetic, smart, positive, busy, honest guy who believes in Jesus. There is a little riding season left, so bonus points if you like motorcycles, and double bonus points if you have one.Wish me luck in my search, and good luck to you too!Mel Someplace comfortable where we can hang out and share a few stories.
