I love to laugh, and I'm usually pretty good at making others laugh… a lot of the times at my own expense. I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent person… but I can also be a bit of a dork. Title kinda says it all... I am a smart ass most of the time and I love to joke around and laugh. I spent 8 years in the military and in general have no filter when it come to the things I say. However, I do know the appropriate times and places for these comments...- if you don't like that type of humor or don't understand it, chances are you won't like me. I like karaoke bars. I can't help it- it is the only god given talent I have that I don't have to work at or that I can show of in public. I like hanging with a group of friends having a BBQ, going camping, swimming at the lake, lite- medium hiking (not a 10 mile trail in a day, been there-done it), I like taking pictures anywhere- I own a SLR and DSLR both with more than 3 lenses and various filters. I don't care if are into photography yourself but you will have to be willing to put up with me doing it. I really don't know what else to write on here. I want to be with a fun, outgoing social person. I am not into drinking at clubs or bars and I don't want to date anyone who drinks every night (sorry). I am HWP and take extra good care of my skin. I don't want to look twice my age for a tan. My pictures are recent- withing the last 2 weeks so if you saw me 10 min from now (which would be creepy) I would look exactly the same. Please don't send me a picture of you from high school and be surprised that I don't recognize. you if me meet. I have come to a point in my life where I may just leave *** hanging out an having an awkward date. (I am not trying the be *** but you would be irritated if I sent you a picture of me from high school and showed up ***lbs heavier and acted like everything was fine). I don't necessarily care what you look like but please have a great personality to offset however unattractive you may be. (Yes-I just said that...) Personality weighs more heavily that looks-........ I guess it would depend on how I was feeling that week. I could be happy doing a lot of things with the right person. It's more about the quality of the company for me than what we end up doing.

I work in the wine industry, and I love it, but I HATE wine snobs - it's just grape juice people, there's no need for elitism! I'm currently working on some certifications, which are pretty intense and a whole lot of work, but totally worth it! I go to class and tasting groups frequently, so when I say I drink often it mostly involves spitting - but seriously, homework has never been so fun!I play flute, piccolo, tenor sax, and clarinet... I'm a music nerd. It's okay, I've come to terms with it. :) I play in a local community band, I'm also on it's board of directors. I teach lessons and work with some schools in the area - Most people think that I only listen to classical music, which is so wrong! And Folk - And Motown. And Old School Hip-Hip. And Jazz. Maybe I should've written a list of what I don't like...I'm a born and raised Oregonian, and I love it here. I have 2 miniature schnauzers, and I adore them! I'll be honest, I'm not a cat person, dogs are just so much better! :) I'm close with my family and friends, and I like to stay busy. I love to go to happy hour after work, to movies at McMenamins, for a drive in the Gorge, or a weekend at the Coast - there's nothing better than a storm on the coast with a big fire and a glass of wine. (Ugh, that was so cliche, sorry.) Surprise me!
