I do just about everything under the sun, and if I haven't done it, I'm generally up for trying it. I like to travel. My best trip ever was to Pamplona, Spain, where I ran with the bulls. I have very flexible hours, which is awesome, but weekends in the fall are generally tied up. I love to go out for dinner, but also enjoy cooking at home. I enjoy just about every sport. I'm a runner and have completed 4 marathons and a number of other distances. I'm fairly health conscious, but not obsessive. The first stop after a race is generally a bar to celebrate. Sitting by a bonfire anytime is great, but especially in the fall when there's a chill in the air. The beach is awesome, but I get antsy. I like working in the yard and gardening. I grew up in a house of women, so I even enjoy shopping (shhh!) I will open the door for you, and not just for the first couple months. I'll even do it if I'm "having a moment". I do the little things and the big things, because I like to do them, but I also want to be appreciated for doing them. At the same time I don't mind hanging out and watching a movie. Never married and no children. That doesn't mean I don't want to get married, or haven't wanted to... I never thought it was something that would define me. In other words, it just hasn't happened. That doesn't mean I'm a player, in fact I'm just the opposite. I do want to find someone that will compliment me. I want to find someone who is sweet, thoughtful, open-minded, and knows the difference between funny and clever. I want someone who takes care of themselves, and wants to make me happy, as much as they want to make themselves happy. I want to be wanted, not needed. I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for, and generally know when I see it. That being said, I don't have a "type". I like a girl that has style. It doesn’t have to be a particular style... just a style that fits her. Sassy, playful, even mischievous are good. Confidence is good, narcissism is not.As far as why I'm here... dating, relationship, or long-term? I guess I'm here to find someone to date, but I've never dated someone I didn't want to have a relationship with and I've never had a relationship with someone that I didn't want to be with long-term. Personally, I don't see the point of "dating" someone if you're not attracted to them. Which leads me back to the player issue, I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone if I wanted to be with someone else. It's pretty simple really. I think this is a silly question. There are so many variables, as with most things... The "date" No better way to get to know someone than ***hours in the car... right? (lol)

I'm taking myself off of meetville and have decided to remain single. Much easier really. Everyone here has outlandish, and quite frankly, unrealistic expectations when it comes to choosing a mate. I'm fairly certain that if you are looking for Mr. And honestly, some of the women here are flat out insane, and I don't mean that in a good way. OMG Block! I'll be the first to admit, I'm not everyone's cup of tea. I'm disabled (back injury), not getting rich on SSDI and have adapted to a minimalist lifestyle. Less is actually more. I grow and raise a lot of my own food, I am an artist, a musician, and will probably end up living in a van down by the river. Actually, it will probably be a bread truck full of art, crafts, and the equipment I need to work the 18th century historical rendezvous circuit. I'm of German and Native American heritage and I fit into that culture and time period quite well. I call it creative homelessness.I really don't need a woman. I am perfectly capable of doing all of those things once referred to as "woman's work". I can cook gourmet meals, sew a button on my shirt, do my own laundry and I raised a wonderful son by myself. Single dad's rock! I was simply here looking for a like minded person. Someone who wants to enjoy life and not be a corporate slave. I detest "sheeple". A barefoot hippie chick that knows that being affluent doesn't mean having everything, it means having what you need. Someone to walk down trails with, a partner in crime, a confidant...What I found here were a lot of rude women who wouldn't give me the time of day. You know, if a man gives you a compliment or says hi, it doesn't mean he wants in your panties. There are some good guys here, I know, I was one of them. Was, past tense. Here goes i am out here trying to find someone who is not into playing head games.I know alot of things are not clear at first,but i no what i like and don't.I'd like to find an honest,funny,sexy woman that does'nt think the world revolves around her.But anyways i would consider myself to be an honest,nice guy with a sometimes twisted sense of humor.Things i do when not working.shooting,grillin,hanging with friends and that someone special.watchin a good/bad movie.fishing or just sittin around outside catching some sun.And i also know my way around the kitchen well the first date,it's been a long time.But i wiuld want to meet somewere we would both be at ease.I could go anywere the local bar or a nice restraunt.The main thing i would do is be a gentleman and also pay attention.And hopefully all the other things would fall into place.
