Prior to my collegiate activities, as a young man I worked as an auto- My hobbies include pesticide- prior to grad school), motorcycle riding ( I have a Harley), playing drums (hand percussion ***, listening to music (anything but country or rap) I particularly love both reggae and classical, scuba diving (I own my dive equipment, though it has been 4years since my last dive). I am also a total science fiction/science geek. I read voraciously, both for school and pleasure. The last non-school related books I had read were: Vandanna Shiva's Violence of the Green Revolution and Closing the Food Gap: Resetting the Table in the Land of Plenty by Mark Winne. If your social and political views are shaped or influenced by mainstream media, such as Foxnews then I am not your guy. I do not drink wine, so wine tastings are a no. Nor do I drink coffee, but I would love a hot- A walk through local gardens or parks would be nice. A bike ride or hike locally would also be pleasant. Basically something simple, quiet and brief to see if there is any interest or chemistry.
