I believe that trust, true friends and close family bonds are the greatest treasures on earth and that good health should never be taken for granted. I believe in getting out there and taking chances and risks and living fully because you never know when your time is up. Life has taught me much and I have felt the pain of great loss (sometimes self-inflicted due to my stubborn insistence on learning things the hard way or too slowly), the sting of disappointment, and the bitter taste of broken dreams, and yet I remain an irrepressible optimist! What's with that eh? I've been here before and I find it's very much hit and miss, and one should always keep their wits about them.
