Hi there .. I`ve been single forsome time now. but I like it that way,,,some times.. but now,,, i`m really starting to miss you! So it`s time to get out and find you. I get outdoors as much as possible .I do a lot of quadding ,taking trails, stopping on a trails making a fire(in winter ) having a hot lunch or just enjoying the outdoors and scenery.I go camping on all long weekends in the summer.Winter time not so much just day trips with the quad ,I work weekends all winter,so don`t do to much as most people are working during the week. Play lot`s of softball in the summer. My children live at home, or come home to sleep or do laundry,, and I`m ok with that! I have more time on my hands now to get out more, meet more interesting people. . So I would like to start dating again,and friends are a good start,, but looking for,, really ,the long haul! not into any bullsh*t, tell me how it is. Don`t be afraid. I like almost everything,, but politics. .. If you know what you want as most of you do know, you`ll leave a note or just keep going by... I don`t smoke,do drink a little,and do not do any kind of drugs,.Well maybe Advil after playing ball all weekend. I like to listen to most music Just not country!!!. Please have a picture or I will not reply. :) .If you are showing me your exposed cleavage or laying on your bed don`t come a knocking.. I do have an imagination of my own. Roughing it a little while camping and quading and likes to get muddy :p happy fishing..one kiss and your done hmmm. well lets see.. first time well.. if we make it past this window... I would call it more a meet and greet....... I would be into walking the dog(s),coffee or sitting in the park, don`t mind if it`s snowing or raining or sun shining if that is ever going to happen,, and see if there is any chemistry, after that shoot for the moon.. and get the *^*% out of this place\\***Plz***\\\***Put This***On Your***Profile if***You Know***\\\***Someone or have been affected by someone who needs a smack upside the head. This is my second attempt at writing this so here goes. I think I am down-to-earth, sensible, friendly, intelligent and responsible and I am TOLD that I am good-looking and look younger than I am. Above I stated that I farm, but actually most of it is rented out and I don't spend too much time at it any more (I like to KNOW how much income I'm going to make each year and I want to have more free time to explore other things that life has to offer). I believe in sticking with your friends and family through thick and thin. Country life suits me fine but its nice to get away and find new places, meet new people and have new experiences. In the near future I am hoping to increase the amount of time I can devote to travel and seeing more of the world. When I go somewhere I don't like to just lay on the beach or sit at the bar (although they are enjoyable too) but I like to get around and experience the history, people and geography of an area. One son is out in Kelowna working and going to school so I have been out to see him on occasion and I really enjoy that part of the country. My pride and joy are my 2 boys who are both well started in their careers and seem to be well-adjusted and happy. Hauling them around to many athletic and school activities over the years I even got used to some of the music they listened to and although I still prefer tunes from the sixties, seventies and eighties I'll listen to just about anything. I enjoy get-togethers with family and friends (I have a large extended family) for meals, games, campfires and visiting. I enjoy cooking, especially trying new recipes and even experimenting (some creations maybe don't work out too well but it is a learning experience). I have a substantial asparagus patch that will soon be in full production and I csan't even begin to use it all so if you like asparagas I always have lots to give away in the spring. I also frequently attend local sporting events and fundraisers. I like to keep up with current events and have a wide variety of interests that, I believe, I can have an intelligent conversation about.(I guess you will have to serve judgement on whether "intelligent" applies). I seem to retain a lot of -sometimes useless?-information in this blockhead of mine but it comes in handy in Trivial Pursuit, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and settling arguments between my friends. I know that I have a great sense of humor (I seem to be using "I" a lot here) and would be looking for someone that can give and take in that department. Life would be pretty dry if we were serious all the time. I spent around 4 years as a single parent getting my boys through high school and then a few years getting them through post secondary, but now that they are on their way, so to speak, I am looking for someone to share this journey we call life. It would really be nice to have some-one to explore the world with, both near and far. I don't really have a particular kind of person in mind. I have friends with a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds and I enjoy meeting with and interacting with them all. Honesty, generosity, compassion, independence, intelligence, humor and family values are probably the only DEFINITE requirements I have. When I read this it does sound like a lot, but I think they are all tied together in one way or another! If you can put these attributes together in a nice package, so much the better. Looking forward to meeting you Any place public where we can talk and get to know each other. I am open to coffee, drinks, a good meal, or even a stroll somewhere. I'm open to suggestions.
