Divorced father of 2 great kids, both teens. I am fully employed and educated. I like going for drives in the country, bicycling, walking, watching movies and, of course, doing stuff with the kids. The Bad *** I grew up rough. I left home before my 15th birthday, lived on the streets and basically raised myself the hard way. After the age of 35 I finished my high school, went to college and on to university while working simultaneously. I am now respected for the skills I carry and the old me is a different person from a long time ago. Some of the baggage I carry from those days are a minor criminal record (which is why I don't travel much), street smarts (you can take the kid out of the streets but you can't take the streets out of the kid) & a 34 year old daughter I've never met (but plan to soon).I very rarely drink and quit cigarettes a while ago.What I'm looking for?Someone fairly active but not too maniacal. I love the outdoors and keeping in shape. A healthy livestyle is a big part of my life working as a volunteer firefighter but have recently retired from after 25 yrs service.. Which I found very rewarding.It's a big change in life but enjoyed it. The program I toke was enviromental technician field & lab. For we have have only earth and I have worked in this field on clean up end and hopefully when done this course I can maybe make a small difference in how we treat it. Though the jobs in this field have dwindled down, so I've gone back to welding something I known and have done.Enjoy a good movie with a glass of wine and sitting close and even snuggling and cuddling to belief or not.It's not for the ladies some of us guys like that too. One thing, have you ever been walking down the street and seen an 80 year old couple holdings hands, completely enthralled by the fact that after so many years together they still love each other fully and completely and wholeheartedly even when the poor guys teeth fall out at the dinner table and she has to help him put them back in...Well my teeth aren't falling out of my head, and I'm not quite an old man but I am looking for that special type of connection and not just another fling. I'm an easy going guy. Tried roller blading once and... well we'll leave it at that haha.But willing to do it again. Enjoy all types of music. Open and honest, and show respect. You get what you give. Don't be shy,stop by and say hello. Yes I have a few tattoos but they all have meaning to them. Think it's more of a meeting than a date.We could go for coffee or a drink,whichever you prefer.A walk is always nice too.I enjoy a walk with a coffee or tea. Or if you like maybe even a shopping trip.
