About Me

Interested to see where this goes. If just friends, that's ok too. I was born in Kansas but have moved around a lot. That's kind of how I ended up here. I wouldnt consider myself liberal or conservative so much as a classical libertarian. I believe that ones will is their own to determine and should not be impeded as long as no harm is brought to others in the process. I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. I do not use it though. I had done some contract security work in the past, but I am now working in a mine. I am pretty old fashioned in a lot of ways though I do acknowledge and have changed my views where I felt they were incompatible with my morals. I've been through some okay times and some rough times. In the past year or so, though, I have truly come upon the best times I have known in my life. My work and everything is starting to finally pay off. I take pride in myself, my work, my job. If you can't have self respect, how can you expect others to respect you? That is how I feel. Im pretty content with life. I have a place, food in the pantry, a job I love. The only things that are missing are a good woman in my life and kids. I love anything in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking. I love outdoor concerts and festivals. I like going to historical places and national parks. I love museums, antique shops and flea markets. Beaches are good and so are the mountains. Sometimes I will go on random drives looking for interesting things to see or do. I can sometimes sit on the back porch for hours watching the sun go down. I also love cooking, reading, or just chilling out and watching a movie. Trust, honesty, respect, decency, honoring your loved ones above all else. This is what I was taught throughout my childhood. I believe this is a simple moral code that everyone should be able to live by. Im not getting any younger, maybe a little wiser. Time will tell lol. But I know I am far from done in this life and I want to be able to share that with someone special.
