I'm looking for someone to have a dating type of relationship with no serious long term plans at this point. I want to be completely honest so I don't waste anyone's time, including my own. I don't want to get married or live together or anything like that anytime soon, if ever. That's just too much to think about right now and focusing on that goal can sometimes make a relationship develop too quickly. But I would like a relationship to eventually develop into a boyfriend/girlfriend type thing. I guess because I prefer dating one guy at a time. I'm relatively new at dating again but serial dating is not my thing. Physical attraction and affection are important to me for this kind of relationship to work. I know this is important to most of us so to be upfront and honest I am slightly over 5'3" and weigh ***lbs.I love to joke around and find humor to be an attractive quality in a man. I'm also very straightforward and direct and I say what's on my mind. I value honesty and openness in a relationship. And on that note, let me say that I am not one that needs to be wined and dined. Having a good time can just be sitting around drinking a beer (or coke) and shooting the breeze with friends. I traveled when I was younger (went into the Air Force after high school) and I was able to do a lot of different things. I enjoyed it and would love to do more traveling but spending time with other people is what I value the most.-shirt and ordering pizza.I love all animals and have cats right now. I like doing a lot of different things as I'm pretty easygoing. I also love to try new things (whether they're good for me or not) and I love to be outside for any reason. Any time that I spend with my friends is fun no matter what we're doing, like I mentioned above. I don't have any real hobbies right now but I do enjoy working out with weights and machines at the gym about ***times a week. I don't have that 20 year old body but I'm trying to get it as close as possible. I absolutely love the beach and the ocean in general. The mountains are great too and I love hiking through the woods, but the beach/ocean is the place that calls me.Oh yeah, I don't have children, but I love kids, so if you have children it's no problem for me.- oops, did I say that out loud!). I think drinks or coffee with someone else would be nice too.

My kids are everything to me. They bring me more happiness and joy than I could have ever thought possible.If you ask me about them, be prepared for an earful!I have discovered I really enjoy being creative. It is crazy what you find out about yourself when you step off the 50 or 60 hour a week work wheel and spend weeks at a time in a motorhome and cleaning horse stalls. I love baking, cooking, knitting - I make a killer scarf! And sewing - I have even sold a handbag or too. And writing. Those life experiences make great research for plot lines. She didn't understand I had to get back to work to pay for the trip and the horse we got while we were there! I also will find my perfect Dressage horse who will really teach me to ride so I can get a USDF gold medal - though I would settle for a bronze. Lastly, people who really know me understand I am shy and still rather insecure, not a snob (those two things are often confused) and that my friends are my family, too. I will do anything in my power to help them - from meals if you are sick (ask about my pot roast!) to a shoulder to cry on or the wine to drink. If you can get past the defenses, you are in for life. There is always room for one more plate on the table, one more bed to sleep in, and the iced tea is always ready.
