I am at the point where I realize that you rarely get a second chance at this life, and that I really do want to be happy...and with someone that really cares about me as much as I care about them.I am 47, I like to think pretty smart (or at least I try!), independent, sarcastically funny at times and really value the small things in ife. I would rather have a catch in the park, watch a movie or spend hours talking about everything and anything. I love and admire the wisdom and talents of my kids and I took a bunch of wrong roads in relationships that I would very much like to put behind me. (too bad there is no GPS for that right!?) I believe that being friends is the basis for anything meaningful. And without that foundation there is little there to build on. Oh..and I am a computer dork as well. It is my profession and I would probably rather read about new software than a novel... (but I did read 50 shades..... I did.) I think a relationship should be something you treasure, something that makes you smile, somewhere you can cry and feel supported in the things you do. I want to be with someone that likes to have a catch, watch a movie on the couch, play the guitar or just take a walk..going out isn't really all that important to me...nor is money or things. Somehow I think when your are with the right person that life could be such an amazing thing... I want that...So if you are out there... and you want to talk...I have lots to say, and would love to hear all about you. I am more into the real world where you can look in someones eyes and feel them looking back and have a real conversation.
