I am down to earth and a low maintennance kind of girl. What you see is what you get with me. I have 2 daughters, both are away at college now. I am excited about beginning this next chapter in my life. I would like to find someone who enjoys being active and doing some of the same things as me. I try to eat healthy, but not to an extreme. I also walk for exercise, enjoy hiking and love bike riding. I love being outside, am willing to try new things. There are many things I enjoy doing but do not want to do by myself. Things like tubing, kayaking, camping, etc. I love sitting on my deck reading a good book, or having a drink with friends. I like most kinds of music. I really like country and 80's, along with some of today's pop hits, but can listen to just about anything. I don't ask for much. I just want someone who shares some of my interests, is honest, financially stable, easy going and who truly wants to spend time with me. If he likes to bike ride, that is definitely a plus! I don't need to be attached to someone by the hip & I definitely need my space as anyone does. I am not a fancy person, but always do try to look my best. I am not a big phone talker or texter, at least at first anyway. Once I get to know someone and am comfortable, that will change. For a first date, I would prefer doing something low key. Meeting for a drink, coffee, walk or bike ride. I prefer not to go out to dinner for the first time we meet. The way I look at it, if we hit it off, there will be plenty more times to spend together! I would rather communicate a little at first, and if we hit it off, then just meet. I do not like dragging it out. Once we meet then we will know if we want to continue.
