I am down to earth and a low maintennance kind of girl. What you see is what you get with me. I have 2 daughters, both are away at college now. I am excited about beginning this next chapter in my life. I would like to find someone who enjoys being active and doing some of the same things as me. I try to eat healthy, but not to an extreme. I also walk for exercise, enjoy hiking and love bike riding. I love being outside, am willing to try new things. There are many things I enjoy doing but do not want to do by myself. Things like tubing, kayaking, camping, etc. I love sitting on my deck reading a good book, or having a drink with friends. I like most kinds of music. I really like country and 80's, along with some of today's pop hits, but can listen to just about anything. I don't ask for much. I don't need to be attached to someone by the hip & I definitely need my space as anyone does. I am not a fancy person, but always do try to look my best. I am not a big phone talker or texter, at least at first anyway. Once I get to know someone and am comfortable, that will change. For a first date, I would prefer doing something low key. Meeting for a drink, coffee, walk or bike ride. I prefer not to go out to dinner for the first time we meet. The way I look at it, if we hit it off, there will be plenty more times to spend together! I would rather communicate a little at first, and if we hit it off, then just meet. I do not like dragging it out. Once we meet then we will know if we want to continue.
