So,after a few unsuccessful and strange coffee dates,I kind of feel that I need to be a bit more clear on a few things...so here they are:I am 5'7...not 5'9 or 5'10.So,if we meet and we are looking eye to eye at each other, then you clearly have a misconception of your height. Please do not put on your profile that you are 4 to 8 inches taller than you actually are.Women will actually notice the difference when we meet you...we're smart like that!I put on my profile that I have some extra pounds.Yes,I have curves and no,I am not afraid to order more than a piece of lettuce and a glass of distilled water when I go out for supper. When and if we talk on the phone and I ask if your pics are current, please do not say..."yeah,they are fairly recent",if they are not.Again, women will notice this when you show up looking 15 years older than your most "recent pic".If you think that your "winning" personality will entice me to stay for the duration of a large Timmies coffee even though I have noticed that the height and the real you are not quite matching up to your profile, then you're wrong. All you've done at this point is make me regret showering, doing my hair/makeup and putting in a bit of effort to look nice for you.I believe that if you try to start the friendship, etc with lies,it's all going to go warp speed downhill from there.I am very clear in the fact that I am looking for a long term relationship. Please don't waste my time if you're not looking for the same thing and I won't waste yours..If you don't live within an hour of Calgary, then please don't bother contacting me as I probably won't drive 4 hours to meet you for a coffee...gas is far too expensive to be doing that! :)If you have kids, great! As long as there is no crazy ex wife that comes with them, then I have no problem with that.If you are just trying to see how many notches you can put on your bedpost, then good luck with that...you are looking in the wrong direction!!!!Not looking for a man who`s into dating more than 1 woman at a time.If you find someone that you think you might have a connection with, then at least give it a few dates before you decide to move on.No decent woman is ever going to consider making you a priority in her life if she doesn't think that you will do the same for her...just my opinion! Not looking for a 1 night stand!!Not looking for any drama or bulls**t....been there, done that, won't do it again.If/when we meet for a coffee/drinks,if you feel that I might not be the one for you, then at least have the balls to say so.Don't give me a hug and say"I'll call you, this was fun"if you have no intention of doing so.I'm quite capable of handling the truth and will continue in my search for the right one, just as quickly as you will. Please don't add me as a favorite if you have no intention of making contact...kinda defeats the purpose of being on here, doesn't it!?Thanks for letting me vent...I feel much better now! :)What I am looking for is a man who has morals,a great(but slightly warped)sense of haha, values a good relationship, puts family and friends above everything else.My family means the world to me and I have some amazing friends, but I am tired of always being the 3rd wheel.I miss having date nights with a spouse, spending a night curled up on the couch watching movies, slow dancing in the kitchen while cooking together, hopping in the car for a road trip to anywhere, having someone to come home to and share how our days were. Not sure if I`ll find someone compatible on here or not,but I guess I can't really keep complaining about being single if I'm not doing anything to change it.I hope you all find what you're searching for!! I think that a first date should just be meeting for a coffee or a drink. It's alot of pressure for people to meet for a dinner in a restaurant. If it doesn't go well, the man's usually pissed off that he bought dinner and the woman is pissed off that she got all dressed up for nothing, lol.

I am a funny, thoughtful, warm and generous woman. I am open-minded, non-judgemental and love learning new things. I enjoy making people feel welcome and comfortable, and have an innate ability to make people feel at ease and open up; folks often say "I can't believe I just told you that!" I choose to surround myself with wonderful, supportive, loving and peaceful people and I want to find a man who has these qualities as well.My creativity is an integral part of my persona and its expression is my greatest passion. My medium of choice is stained glass and quilting as an art form. My work is truly unique.... kind of like me :)I am looking for a genuine, honest and open man, who possesses good morals and values and treats others as he would like to be treated. I am at a place in my life where I am not willing to settle and am looking for "the full package"....not perfection by any means, but someone with whom I connect with on an emotional, physical and spiritual level. Looking forward to meeting you!PS if you are in a relationship or married I am not interested thanks. Also not interested in a hook up.PLEASE, HAVE A PIC. I won't respond otherwise. Something mutually agreeable involving a beverage?
