So let's go! I've been waiting all my life to meet you! Let's get this started! I am looking for a man of integrity that can gently take my hand and walk beside me and be my best friend and confidant. Someone to share life's joys and sorrows. Someone who I look forward to sharing all of my hearts desires and crazy spontaneous "lets go" ideas. I'm kindhearted, fun-loving, appreciative, supportive and loving. There's so much to me...sometimes complex, yet simple. Sometimes deep, yet an open-book. And please don't be offended if you're out of the area and I don't write back...I just honestly am not interested in anything long distance.Random things about me - I am a great mom to a fantastic 16 yr old daughter. We're close and I love seeing her grow into a beautiful young woman. I enjoy sports (from my daughters' HS events, minor, college or pro; live or TV***softball, hockey, football. Outdoor activities can be anything - from a simple walk to taking in a hike at a local park to enjoying Party in the Park or a local festival...I'm open! Teach me something new! I've always wanted to learn to salsa! I love exploring new places be it a restaurant with a food I've never tried to a museum with an exhibit. I love live music - open to about anything, but favs are blues/jazz and rock/alt. Live theater, from small HS productions to Playhouse in the Park, are a passion! I enjoy traveling too - be it a daytrip, a long weekend, or something bigger. Cruises are fun! Tropical rocks! Would love to travel to Europe. I love life and all it has to offer. I love learning. I'm not afraid of "what's out there." I'm enthusiastic and have a natural smile that brings people in and makes them feel welcome. I'm warm and supportive and usually the one rooting for the underdog. I'm not afraid to touch, hug, kiss. I think it's essential to show you connect. I'm tenderhearted. I cry at sad movies. I love all animals. I volunteer. I love coffee in the morning. I am a Christian. I'm a loyal friend. I'm funny, but you may have to be a little "twisted" to "get me" lol. Yes, I can be a little left of center, but it's all good. I'm sarcastic - but never mean. I love comedy clubs! I give a great massage. I sing - pretty well actually ;) At 5'8", I'm the "short one" in my family. I'm intelligent and not afraid to use my brain. I'm new to working out, but I'm serious about getting healthier. I generally eat healthy. I love water aerobics. I value honesty, integrity, morality, ethics, and kindness among many other virtues. I was raised "right." I'm certainly not perfect, but perfectly me in my imperfections.Ideally I'm looking for a long-term relationship...let's start out slow, get to know eachother, talk...see if that "spark" is there. I just want to find someone who will get to know the real me. Some people don’t understand why I post about my cancer on here. And others may wonder why she is on here. I am a cancer survivor and I deserve happiness as much as anyone. How do you honestly know that you won’t meet someone and you be the one who finds out you have cancer or some other sickness and you hope they will stand by you even if it is as a friend. I know from experience most run when they see the cancer word. Or they see you on the outside they want to meet you but when they meet you and you tell them that cancer has scarred your body they run the other way. I am still me on the inside and nothing will change that. But as I said it’s made me stronger and doesn’t change who I am. Being a breast cancer patient means living my life. My journey was over Sept 24th as I will had my last chemo and I will celebrate. I am STRONG.I am an easy going person who enjoys life as best that I can. I have 3 children, 2 grandchildren that are everything to me and are the most important people in my life. I have an amazing family and we are all very close and enjoy spending time together.I have been through a lot in life recently and just want to experience new things and as I am just a simple person I just want enjoy life in simple ways. I love walks and picnics in the park and visiting waterfalls. I love NASCAR and UGA fan all the way! I enjoy all types of music. Mostly country and rock.Shoot for the moon. Even if your miss you'll land among the stars.. I would like to take a walk maybe in the park so we can talk and really get to know each other.
