IT was my goal this summer to have a killer tan and i succeeded!!! I may not be great at fishing but I have no problem relaxing quietly while some one else enjoys the sport. I recently got custody of my 17 year old godson and am a parent for the first time in my life. He's showing me a more active lifestyle. No longer the quiet book worm I tried to be. Its been fun, but no teenager wants to hang around with a parent all the time, right? I would like to find a partner in life. Someone to share my experiences with, good and bad. I don't need someone to fix things or try to make it all better. I am way too independent to go for that. I want someone to bounce ideas off of and tell me when I could be making a better choice, but not force me into it.I like to try new and different things. I actually got my para-plane license when I was younger. I love to fly! The feeling of being up in the air with nothing coming at you... incredible. My favorite movie is Titanic, for the history of it all, not the romance. I have been a Titanic buff since a kid. I have books and artifacts that I treasure. Then again I like history period. My favorite memories as a kid involve traveling around the country seeing battlefields, museums, historic monuments.
