Hello there :)Really... when did it come down to meeting people online? (smile).A bit about me:I treat others with respect and expect the same in kind. I suppose most would consider me pretty independent. Not a feminist by any means (I hate those labels) I am not looking for someone to "take care of me" financially but I also am not in a position to take care of you financially either. Make sense?Even with independence I am old fashioned when it comes to dating. I am more comfortable having a man call. If you give me your number and ask me to call that makes me uncomfortable and I won't.I have an easy time making people laugh and am happy most of the time. A relationship is nothing without honesty and laughter. My parents have raised me to be kind. I believe communication is extremely important.Looking for someone with diverse interests. We don't have to share all the same interests but you at least should be "interesting."I don't have the energy to play games in a relationship. It is not worth the time or effort.If there is a connection so be it.. if not.. the same. Life is too short to look for hidden meanings and play games. Appearance is important to me in the sense you have to be attracted to someone to have a relationship. Appearance is not so important that I judge a book by the cover.As for my appearance.. I am plus sized so if you are looking for someone who is skinny keep looking. It doesn't define me, but chemistry is important.I have become more of a home body over the years. The bar scene is just not me. I enjoy getting together with friends, spending time outdoors (usually try to go camping in the mountains at least once during each summer) and being close to someone.Intelligence is not measured by what university degrees you have but your ability and willingness to learn. I have a few degrees and am very smart in certain areas, and not so smart in many other areas.I like to think I learn something every day.A sense of humor is extremely important to me. Dinner..wine tasting.. auction? Nothing fancy required but like to get to know someone.
