Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! As my Intro line says I do have a zest for life and I'll try anything once! I would love to go on the Amazing Race just for the experience of travelling and rappelling and trying foreign cuisines. As it is I'm an avid cyclist(mountain and road) and I'm up for showing others how much fun it can be! I also enjoy running ,rollerblading,skiing,snowshoeing,hiking and camping. I like discovering other persons hobbies and learning what gets them jazzed up!My other passion is cooking. I love trying new dishes especially breakfast (my favorite meal) So I guess I'm what you call a "foodie". I would love for the person I meet to have an "live to eat" type of personality. Recently I learned how to make wine and has a blast with it! Now I hope the wine comes out all right...only time will tell! Next I'm going to try my hand at beer making.I am very lucky that I have such a great family and wonderful group of friends and I'd love for the person I meet to be apart of that as it would be an easy transition. Most of all, I would like someone I can share all parts of my life with and be my best friend. A hike would be nice or how about a visit to the comedy club who doesn't like comedy?

Im definitely a go-with-the-flow, low maintenance kinda gal just looking for a nice, normal guy... But after being out of the dating world for many years, I am discovering that "normal" appears to be an extremely relative term...is it just me??My friends will tell you I'm warm, caring, fun loving, and the sweetest person they know. I also have a wicked sarcastic sense of humor (hellooo, I work with middle schoolers all day!) and often chase squirrels in conversation (think you can keep up?) Don't mistake sweet for stupid, though. I just choose to spend my time with my glass half full. I have 3 amazing kids (23, 21, &18), but my nest is empty as they are each off beginning their own life adventures. I love my job as a middle school administrator and hope to find someone equally passionate about his career. I love to sing. I actually sang with a local rock band not long ago, and still love to go out and support my band friends a couple times a month. I also love to dance, watch movies, take long drives, play darts/pool/board games/cards, and just enjoy the people I am with. I don't even mind watching sports (truth be told, I dig football--Go Texans and Gig 'Em Aggies!!!) If you think we might have something in common, I'd love to hear from you. Even if there's no spark, it is still fun having a witty conversation and possibly making a new friend over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
