Friends are nice to have but a partner in life would be even better. Would love to have someone to ride to the beach with and I actually like to fish. I love music, and all kinds of movies. I have 2 cats that require my attention so if you don't like cats please don't respond. My children are grown and self sufficient. I own my home and car but it would be nice to share life's responsibilities with someone else one day. Not just financially but emotionally. Life tends to get me down sometimes but usually I'm the one who laughs the loudest, dances and doesn't care whose watching. Treat me with respect and you will get the same in return. Not really into the coffee shop thing. I enjoy my coffee first thing in the morning with my cats by my side. I always feel like I'm on trial sitting in a coffee shop being interegated by my date. I'm already on edge with this dating thing. Maybe a quiet restaurant or a walk downtown.

I enjoy going for walks this time of year, in the neighborhood, forest preserves, etc., enjoying nature. Great time to spend outdoors - lets get together before the weather gets too cold!I'm more on the quiet/shy/nervous side when first meeting someone, but once we meet and start talking i open up.I like reading and movies, dining out, thunderstorms, tattoos, fests, flea markets etc. Non smoker and social drinker, do not do the club scene but do enjoy a quiet bar. Going out, staying in both are enjoyable.Looking for a partner who's honest, caring, enjoys the simple things in life and can make me laugh. A good sense of humor is awesome! Thanks for reading and please send me a message if interested in learning more!

Im definitely a go-with-the-flow, low maintenance kinda gal just looking for a nice, normal guy... But after being out of the dating world for many years, I am discovering that "normal" appears to be an extremely relative term...is it just me??My friends will tell you I'm warm, caring, fun loving, and the sweetest person they know. I also have a wicked sarcastic sense of humor (hellooo, I work with middle schoolers all day!) and often chase squirrels in conversation (think you can keep up?) Don't mistake sweet for stupid, though. I just choose to spend my time with my glass half full. I have 3 amazing kids (23, 21, &18), but my nest is empty as they are each off beginning their own life adventures. I love my job as a middle school administrator and hope to find someone equally passionate about his career. I love to sing. I actually sang with a local rock band not long ago, and still love to go out and support my band friends a couple times a month. I also love to dance, watch movies, take long drives, play darts/pool/board games/cards, and just enjoy the people I am with. I don't even mind watching sports (truth be told, I dig football--Go Texans and Gig 'Em Aggies!!!) If you think we might have something in common, I'd love to hear from you. Even if there's no spark, it is still fun having a witty conversation and possibly making a new friend over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
