My friends describe me as someone with high emotional intelligence and empathy, and a certain wisdom. My best friend says I am a very old soul with a very young heart. I have a sense of humour and can not tolerate negative thinking. I am not boastful or pushy and appreciate a partner who can embrace humility while still finding a balance in his confidence! My ideal first date would be highly anticipated. We would have already met for coffee. We have done the endless ***, texts and had the the once over. We've sized each other up and we want to spend some quality time together. Our first date, would be outdoors. We would meet on a picnic blanket. You bring the wine and cheese. I'll bring the salads and main meal. After toasting to our *** with each other, we would barely be able to eat because of the huge smiles on our faces. We share our stories and make each other laugh. The chemistry between us is tangible, and we both feel it. As we watch the sun dip below the horizon, we are ready to get up and move our legs. We pack up and walk down the hill. We find ourselves in the city and finish our date, sharing a dessert with an espresso.

It is simply this. There is something so amazing about that organic, nonsensical banter you have with someone who gets you....and you them. You can't force it or create it.....it just happens. I tend to have a dry, sarcastic, sometimes inappropriate, racy sense of humor. I am of the opinion...and I don't think that I am alone here....that there are not many scenarios in which a good "that's what she said" joke would not be admissible. Also...if you are offended by the occasional curse word....we are probably not a match. It is sometimes part of my vernacular and I don't really see that changing any time soon. That said, I am a big proponent for "knowing your audience". In short...I will not sailor it up, in front of your Grandmother.I try to stay fairly healthy and active but I'm not obsessive about it. I live about ten blocks from the beach...so I spend a lot of time walking and bike riding down by the water. Honestly, I really can't imagine ever living too far from the ocean. While I do not affiliate myself with a specific religion...I am a very spiritual person and always searching to find my true and better self. I love music!...I mean I REALLY love it....all kinds.....it takes me places and inspires me more than I can say.Love to go anywhere I've never been and try anything I've never tried. Taught pre-school years ago but now I work in Film and TV (same mentality, different age group :)LOVE animals and have two rescue cats. On some days...they rescue me.I am a relatively drama free gal and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm open, honest, easy to talk to and pretty uncomplicated. Looking for the same. Although I love to dress up for the right occasion....I often still feel like a little girl wearing my mothers shoes. Except for the six inch heels that don't leave the bedroom....then I'm not thinking about my mother at all really :-)I look like my photos but feel it's only fair to warn you....I am the least photogenic person you have ever met. The good news is...it means I look better in person. However....any photos of us together in the future will surely be fodder for much sarcastic wise-crackiness....and I am up for the task. No one can laugh at me the way I can. I'm not really sure what all this means exactly....but....it's accurate.P.S. If we can make each other laugh.....I'm yours forever! Not a huge fan of the "coffee" date..ha...unless you wanna meet at 8am....maybe a glass of wine somewhere.....
