Im definitely a go-with-the-flow, low maintenance kinda gal just looking for a nice, normal guy... But after being out of the dating world for many years, I am discovering that "normal" appears to be an extremely relative term...is it just me??My friends will tell you I'm warm, caring, fun loving, and the sweetest person they know. I also have a wicked sarcastic sense of humor (hellooo, I work with middle schoolers all day!) and often chase squirrels in conversation (think you can keep up?) Don't mistake sweet for stupid, though. I just choose to spend my time with my glass half full. I have 3 amazing kids (23, 21, &18), but my nest is empty as they are each off beginning their own life adventures. I love my job as a middle school administrator and hope to find someone equally passionate about his career. I love to sing. I actually sang with a local rock band not long ago, and still love to go out and support my band friends a couple times a month. I also love to dance, watch movies, take long drives, play darts/pool/board games/cards, and just enjoy the people I am with. I don't even mind watching sports (truth be told, I dig football--Go Texans and Gig 'Em Aggies!!!) If you think we might have something in common, I'd love to hear from you. Even if there's no spark, it is still fun having a witty conversation and possibly making a new friend over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

I am new to all this, Im tired of the games, and being hurt. I want someone real, someone that knows what he wants, and above all can be honest and real, I am honest, real and loyal (what you see is what you get), and I want to share my life with someone that cares about me, not what I can give themI'm tired of meeting all the wrong guys. Like the "I'm married but separated" guy, the "I don't have transportation, so can you come get me?" guy, or the "Do you have some money I can borrow?" guy. I want someone who is employed, who has transportation, who is not a player, and who knows what he wants out of life. I'm not looking for someone to come and take care of me either. I'm employed and I am happy with my life. I've just finally come to the point in my life where I want to have someone to share it with. It would be nice to find someone who I could get to know and eventually develop a long term thing with. I like road trips even if it's just to pick a direction and end up wherever. I have found a wonderful “home” in my sister’s church and I attend every Sunday. I would never presume that just because I am with someone that they should go to services with me, but I would love the opportunity to share it with anyone who would be open. I am a very family oriented person, as I know first hand that with out family to “have your back’ who else is there?I love life and new adventures.I am far from perfect and I am not looking for perfection, just sometimes to accept me for who I am and what I have to offer, as I would them My opinion of a great first date would be meeting for coffee and possibly a walk along the beach or somewhere we could just talk and get to know eachother.
