I am a native Floridian so I love the water and beaches. I've been here a little while now, but I consider myself new to the area in terms of still needing to explore so much around here.I like to do outdoor activities as well as relax with a movie or nice dinner. I am quiet at first, but as I get to know someone I am more out-going. I like almost all types of music and have tried to learn all types of dancing. I like to travel to explore places and meet people. I enjoy someone with a good sense of humor (not a gross one, but a good-hearted one). I like some banter. I think taller guys should be with taller girls - there aren't too many and we need them! :-)I tend to prefer people with good attitudes about everything. I like someone who is mature, yet can be silly at times. "Ideal" is hard to say. I believe that the questions we were prompted to answer for this helped to give us some insight into each other. Each case is different, of course. I like someone who can talk about most subjects and someone who likes to do things/is active, but who can also enjoy relaxing. I believe all good relationships start with a foundation of friendship (but also with chemistry, of course), leading to a more romantic relationship.I have been sky diving, but need to go again; I am SCUBA certified, but it's been a while and I want to get back into it; I went to school in the SE and studied some out of the country, after hard work to get there; my parents are originally from NYC, with Irish, German, English, and Spanish roots;; I have worked with the military in the past; I enjoy traveling; and I have been around the US and other countries for work and vacations.I am looking for a STRONG person...someone who is secure with themselves.. and that comes in many forms;.. did you ever stop to think maybe your soul mate wasn't placed conveniently right down the street for you? Imagine that.. :-)Besides there being a natural chemistry between us, I am looking for someone who is kind and generally happy and comfortable with themselves.     I am a Teacher by career & a forever student of life by choice. I love traveling but prefer to be amongst the people who live where I journey..........I am NOT a resort gal, nope not at all...i much prefer the "off the beaten path" route.... lol Yes I voted for OBAMA and yes, I still love him, support him and stand by him; so if you are a "loyal" republican I am quite sure we will not be a match & for sure if you are "pro-life"/anti-choice we will NOT get along....I am proud to have been an "escort" for Planned Parenthood (refered to as a "Deathscort" by the "pro-lifers")& I tend to think women are stronger/smarter (lol) then men (sorry if that pisses u off, im just being honest!)........Hmmmmm what else to add here....oh, any day i'd prefer jeans & my converse sneaks over "dressing up" yuk, i am def not a fancy/dress-up and go out clubbing type of gal....I am NoT at all interested in the kind of car U drive but i do want to know what drives your HeARt's passion........i love this little saying,"Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere," cuz it sure is & usually when i see an injustice, i don't keep my mouth shut! do you? Something that stimulates conversation & discovery of each others values, interests, aspirations, dreams....it's not so much the place that matters as the person and his/her heart and the connection and energy between 2 people....big plus if u can make me laugh without me knowing you're trying lol
