I am a native Floridian so I love the water and beaches. I've been here a little while now, but I consider myself new to the area in terms of still needing to explore so much around here.I like to do outdoor activities as well as relax with a movie or nice dinner. I am quiet at first, but as I get to know someone I am more out-going. I like almost all types of music and have tried to learn all types of dancing. I like to travel to explore places and meet people. I enjoy someone with a good sense of humor (not a gross one, but a good-hearted one). I like some banter. I think taller guys should be with taller girls - there aren't too many and we need them! :-)I tend to prefer people with good attitudes about everything. I like someone who is mature, yet can be silly at times. "Ideal" is hard to say. I believe that the questions we were prompted to answer for this helped to give us some insight into each other. I believe all good relationships start with a foundation of friendship (but also with chemistry, of course), leading to a more romantic relationship.I have been sky diving, but need to go again; I am SCUBA certified, but it's been a while and I want to get back into it; I went to school in the SE and studied some out of the country, after hard work to get there; my parents are originally from NYC, with Irish, German, English, and Spanish roots;; I have worked with the military in the past; I enjoy traveling; and I have been around the US and other countries for work and vacations.I am looking for a STRONG person...someone who is secure with themselves.. and that comes in many forms;.. did you ever stop to think maybe your soul mate wasn't placed conveniently right down the street for you?
