I am originally from Upstate NY, in the country.     Ok, I hate writing things about myself. Where do you start?As most people on this site, I am looking for someone to share my life with. I have a great family and tons of friends but my life seems empty without that special someone to curl up with at the end of the day. Life is too short so I've taken it to the online scene since I do not frequent bars much anymore and it's difficult to meet people other than at work these days. I also tend to be a little shy at first.I love to travel, go to the casino, hike, bike, play volleyball and kayak among a few things.     I'm lured by subjects and people that sit somewhat on the edge of convention, people who aren't afraid to debate an issue on one hand while also being able to switch off and simply be. I can move with ease from being sassy and irreverent to being elegant and articulate.My playground has both swings and roundabouts, from late nights and good music (predominantly rock and some blues through soul, Motown and electronica l to perhaps prokofiev's dance of the knights -- but come around in time.
