Here's the fun part....talking about myself...JK!I am first and foremost a Mom of two wonderful young men!! My life has always revolved around my sons, but I have recently become an empty nester!! Now, I am in the position to think about what I want my life to look like, to discover more things I love to do, and to shake things up a bit! =) By the way, I absolutely adore children....I would never exclude someone based on the presence or absence of children. =)While I have been very successful in my professional life, I am still missing that special someone that I would like to share my life with. However, it is past time to switch my focus to me! I grew up in the South (have been told an accent comes out from time to time), have Southern manners, and a kind nature. I value honesty, kindness, consideration for others, loyalty, adventure, and an open mind to people and the world around us. =)I hope to find someone that is kind, honest, positive, FUN, adventuresome, family-oriented, and who is open to building something special between us. So as to not waste your time - I am only interested in men who are between ***, at least 6' tall, physically fit and are NOT religious... if that describes you, please proceed...About me... Jogging with my dog in the morning gets me out of bed and my day started. Cross Fit a few times a week has become an addiction. And I play a little tennis for fun. NOTE: I am not a fan of jogging... I suppose the only time I prefer to run is when I am being chased and even then, I am more likely to push a kid off his bike to make a getaway rather than try and out run you. Seriously.Music makes me happy. I cannot carry a tune but will often sing aloud, and play air guitar, much to everyone’s dismay. I believe there is a petition to ban me from the park where we “run.” Admittedly however, it is likely due to the fact that, one time, I really did grab little Billy’s bike... I’d like to think no one saw me, but?!My friends would tell you that I am both fun and funny... That I have a knack with power tools... I drive too fast... I am a great cook... I can talk to anyone and make everyone feel comfortable... and that I am quick to try and make people laugh. In fact, I laugh often and usually at myself.I will tell you that I am happy and I wake up in a good mood. I am independent, honest and kind. Re power tools, luck is the only reason I've kept my fingers and toes... but I am no stranger to DIY. I absolutely drive too fast, so now I have blindfolds and crash helmets in the car. I also believe myself to be smarter than the average bear… however, I've never met an "average" bear, so my theory continues untested. By now you are asking yourself “what’s not to like?" (handyman and driving skills notwithstanding). Well, I do have this unfortunate habit of using ellipses (…) to excess, as you’ve likely noticed by now. Could be a deal breaker for some. Me… me… me… enough about me… YOU?You are between 40 and 52, at least 6'0 tall and are smart, driven and have your shyt together. You are honest, kind and can laugh at yourself. You should also enjoy food... if you are a fussy eater - we are not compatible. Because you enjoy food, you MUST get some kind of exercise, with some regularity... this doesn't mean you need washboard abs, but if your ass is on the couch more than off of it - we are not compatible.Oh and... If all you have is the "selfie" bathroom pic, shirted or not, do not bother to contact me. It screams two things - CHEEZY and that you perhaps don't have any friends... surely there has to be someone who can take a picture of you, with your clothes on, somewhere other than in the bathroom?!

About me...Let's see...I am definitely an extrovert and prefer to spend my spare time out in my community, entertaining in my home or enjoying some entertainment at a friends. I like the occasional day laying around my house, but I definetly prefer to be out in the community. I LOVE hiking in the mountains with my dog or going for a run with them and others. We usually hit a vineyard after our mountain hikes and bring along a picnic lunch ; I am curious by nature and will talk with you about any subject, even those I know little about so that I may learn. I do however avoid politics and religion like the plague because people seem to become particularly passionate about these subjects which seems to mean they believe everyone should be...as long as you see it their way!! LOL!! I just like calm in my life is all so feel free to give me your views just don't expect me to share mine :) I love to laugh so I also love to make others laugh...unfortunately this includes a bit of witty sarcasm ;) Hope this gives you a little bit of an idea who I am :)Who I'm looking for...easy enough, someone who's NOT A COUCH POTATO, isn't an addict or alcoholic, has a high degree of intelligence and a fantastic sense of humor and liking dogs is a plus! I love a good war of wits in the humor department as well, so someone who likes to tease is very attractive to me. As a matter of fact I would say the only men I have ever felt an emotional attachment to were especially gifted in the verbally teasing department! He needs to like to socialize and get out into nature for a hike or run. I would really love to meet someone who will go for walks and hikes with me especially! Disclaimer :PLEASE...only single individuals...I will not date men who are merely separated. The best first meets are usually those where we can talk...so coffee or a drink would be my preference.
