This is where I try to be funny, but I'm the only one laughing, and those of you that are, are the true geeks, so welcome! (I've got the card remember) Not a deal breaker if you respectfully disagree, but if the mere thought offends you, you might want to bolt at this point. I take fairly good care of my body (see exhibit B) if you do not take care of yours on a similar level, I'm probably not interested. Don't need a sugar daddy, been taking care of myself and two boys for a long time, however I'm not interested in sponsoring struggling musicians (cute as you are). I am a muralist, fine artist, designer, teacher, and I'm going back to school to get my Masters, so I'm a pretty busy cookie, but really would like to meet someone special to grow old with. (nostalgic music playing) I'm not materialistic or very high maintenance, unless you know how to fix bikes. Re-read my age requirements, that goes for grandpa Joe too! I am a teacher so PLEASE use the spell-check feature built into this program (the red dashed underline means you are misspelling a word!!!!!!!) Seriously? On the other hand, if you are witty or a smart ass, please inquire within! The best first date I ever had was a 2 hour hike followed by a shooting range (which I had never done before, and was very uncomfortable with), then beer tasting at a brewery, and then dinner at a 5* restaurant. Though we didn't work out because of our age difference, that still goes down in history as one of the best dates ever....can you beat it?

Hello there! Okay, here's a little bit about myself...I am a Guidance Counselor in a public K-8 school. I love my job and wouldn't want to do anything else. To make this easier, I asked some friends to describe me and here are the results: fun-loving, sweet, adventurous, motivated, family oriented, considerate of other's feelings, and energetic. I am quick-to-smile and somewhat inquisitive! I enjoy all sorts of activities and will pretty much try anything once - I’ve gone sky diving, cliff diving and accomplished the knee-hang catch on a flying trapeze! I enjoy fine dining, traveling to tropical islands, rollerblading, roller coasters, hiking, some snow skiing, pistol shooting, obstacle/adventure running/races (i.e.: Tough Mudder 2x), and CrossFit for exercise! I am the type that loves getting dressed up and going to a nice restaurant one night and maybe camping out by a fire the next; I can suit the occasion and enjoy doing so. I spent a great deal of time in college and working hard. I own my own home and am financially independent. Ive had several (very) long term relationships (8 years, 7 years, and 6 years each) and although none of them developed into a life-long future, I feel that I am a better person because of them.I have fulfilled all of my academic and career goals and hope to meet a man who has done the same...hence, who is ready for a committed relationship. I am looking for someone who I can share myself with - someone who will be my love, as well as my best friend. I am finally ready to meet the man who I am meant to be with. Although I am not looking for a relationship that is only "convenient", I have tried the long-distance thing once or twice and have found it difficult. I do also understand that everyone is on their best behavior during the get-to-know-you stage...which is why I do not tend to jump into things. I will try to be as up-front as possible in this.Having said that, I prefer to meet sooner than later. As much as I appreciate good writing technique, as illustrated in *** &/or text messages, I would much rather meet early on to determine if there is a spark between us - which is absolutely necessary!! ;)
