This is where I try to be funny, but I'm the only one laughing, and those of you that are, are the true geeks, so welcome! I am 41, and yes these photos are recent- I'm told I look 30, but that being said, I really am 41, and also want to date 40 and above. Church? gulp, cough....yes I go once in a while and wouldn't mind sharing that with someone. Please no crazy evangelicals, but Lutheran, Presbyterian, Catholic would be great as long as you are ok with drinking and occasional swearing. (I've got the card remember) Not a deal breaker if you respectfully disagree, but if the mere thought offends you, you might want to bolt at this point. I take fairly good care of my body (see exhibit B) if you do not take care of yours on a similar level, I'm probably not interested. Don't need a sugar daddy, been taking care of myself and two boys for a long time, however I'm not interested in sponsoring struggling musicians (cute as you are). I am a muralist, fine artist, designer, teacher, and I'm going back to school to get my Masters, so I'm a pretty busy cookie, but really would like to meet someone special to grow old with. (nostalgic music playing) I'm not materialistic or very high maintenance, unless you know how to fix bikes. Re-read my age requirements, that goes for grandpa Joe too! I am a teacher so PLEASE use the spell-check feature built into this program (the red dashed underline means you are misspelling a word!!!!!!!) Seriously? On the other hand, if you are witty or a smart ass, please inquire within! The best first date I ever had was a 2 hour hike followed by a shooting range (which I had never done before, and was very uncomfortable with), then beer tasting at a brewery, and then dinner at a 5* restaurant. Though we didn't work out because of our age difference, that still goes down in history as one of the best dates ever....can you beat it?

Well, as a single mom of a 3-yeat-old, my time is rarely my own. Hobbies are something I hope to resume as my child gets older and more involved with school activities. In other words, school activities will likely become my hobbies in a couple years. :-)I really don't want to spend a lot of time trying to convey who I am here when a phone call or two and/or meeting for coffee would tell both of us *** there's any chemistry worth pursuing. That said, I must also tell you that I have very limited availability. Babysitters cost money, and as a 1-income household, we don't have an overabundance of that. So I choose who gets that very precious time with great care. If you don't have pics up on your profile, or are cagey about means of contact, I will not reply. And in the interest of full disclosure, let's get right to the heart of it: I don't require rescuing, but after the # of guys I've talked to that have all been taken advantage of most grievously by conniving, selfish women, I've concluded that guys say they want an independent woman, but at the end of the day, they want to be the hero.-do list. Oh, and he also has to sweep me off my feet. ;-)
