I like to laugh...... a lot - as laughter is therapy for the soul. If you can't laugh at yourself, then someone else will anyway:-) It's so important to have fun and enjoy life and know when it's time to be serious. I enjoy the warm weather very much as this allows me to spend time outdoors.(Walking, hiking biking, and tennis.) I also enjoy kickboxing and it is certainly a great release. For fun - I enjoy live music, movies, and comedy and love a great night out or in with friends/family. And then there are the quiet times that we all need to just reflect, relax and renew. What I admire most in a man is honesty, respect, courage, maturity and a man who is secure with who he is.Let's just say that I've had experiences in life and although I don't know everything there is to know, I have come to realize that I am not a match for a man who lacks these qualities. I can offer these qualities and more to the right person. I think it's important to remember that we are not the only ones who have loved someone that resulted in disappointment or hurt. We're also not the only ones who have made mistakes or hurt someone that we cared about either. My motto: Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start again

I'm about as comfortable as everyone else on the internet describing the essence of me in a paragraph or two. I work a corporate job but have lots of not for profit fantasies. I'm professionally successful and self supporting. I am open minded, generally liberal but err on the side of live and let live. I am looking for dating or a relationship, hopefully someone kind, fun, and willing to try new things. I like mostly alt rock, some alt country and rap. I like cycling, being with friends and family, taking care of my kids and dogs and all that So Cal has to offer. I am a single mom of 2, one on his way out of the house, one much younger. I've been single for quite a while and feel like I've got the kid/life/work balance in order and could add a relationship to the mix.I've got a lot of questions about the way the world works and dating in general ;-) What posses someone to photograph themselves in a bathroom mirror and share it with the world? Hasn't everyone heard of duck face? I think it's best to meet for coffee or a a drink to decide if dating is the next step.
