Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
I am an independent, successful woman who enjoys going out to restaurants, shopping, taking long walks and an occasional late night movie. My friendships are extremely important to me. I’m looking for an honest, confident, fun-loving man who knows what he wants. A man who has reached his goals and is getting ready to take life easy. One that is thoughtful and affectionate.....one who can be crazy n silly at times as well. Dinner or drink would be great for starters.

Imported British female seeking kind, thoughtful and funny male! Would to find someone who is looking for a long term relationship. Passionate about books, history, art, beautiful scenery and being outside. I love to garden! Also my 2 rescue cats! I am currently teaching them to talk (just checking if you are paying attention!)Would love to own my own second hand bookshop (when i win the lottery and dont need to have a salary!). Want to meet someone who above all will be my best friend, someone who is easy to chat to, has interests of their own but also shares common interests. I don't want to meet someone who always has to be the life and soul of the party. Someone who you have no such thing as an uncomfortable silence with! Someone who is content but who is also looking for that one person. Must enjoy occasional visits to the Motherland! I believe that someone is out there for everyone. I am basically a romantic, nostalgic 'old' fool! No need for a long description - i think a simple glass of wine with no pressure is the best way.

I'm old-fashioned. I'm used to guys asking the girls out. Not that I've never done the reverse...just more comfortable like that. I'm just looking for a guy to hang out with and have some fun with (same as everyone else). Stimulating conversations. Laughter is important, so we have to have the same sense of humour and of course there does have to be some kind of spark to take it beyond friends, but making more friends is never a bad thing, so let's meet and see what happens! I have a bit of a zoo. I have 2 dogs (the Border Collie and the Chihuahua/Yorkie) &..so an animal lover is a REAL bonus. Lol! I enjoy running or walking with the dogs every day, hanging with friends, a good glass of wine, or a beer. I like cooking and dinner parties in or out in a restaurant. I think everyone enjoys movies and listening to music. I like all music, but classic rock is probably my favourite. Not a big country fan. I like painting and photography, and would like to do more travelling (did quite a bit when I was younger). Not looking to *** someone forever...aren't these sites to MEET people? Hoping to find someone with a few similar interests. Also, FYI, I rarely check that favourites thing, so if that is your way of showing me you're interested you probably won't hear back from me. I like to keep first meetings quite short and sweet...they are basically blind dates off of the web after all. A drink or two to see if we click, see if we have anything in common, and then take it from there A first "real" date...hmmmm...up for anything...but a date means to "go out". A movie on your couch or a soak in your hot tub is not my idea of a first date. Lol!
