I am on this sight because friends have recommended it- having met their special someone here.I am not into mind games, and am only interested in chatting with / meeting those that are wanting to find their special someone to take their journey with. I have children (2), and they are my world - but there is room for someone to share our adventures with. I am not looking for a Dad for them, as they already have one.I enjoying getting out and enjoying the festivals throughout the city & surroundings, BBQs with family & friends- often involves games of croquet, frisbie, badminton battles (net included). trips to parks for picnics, football tosses, or just out for walks.I am not wild & crazy by any means, but am known for last minute road trips- I have travelled to various provinces -Favorite summer activity- camping... In a tent, and I do not need to pack a blowdryer- yes, I am that kind of girl.I enjoy a wide variet of music, but country is my favorite. Movies? I enjoy a good comedy, action, romance- but don't do very good with the horror movies- will often watch from behind a pillow.What I look for in a man- Someone with a sense of humor, honesty, fun loving, caring, cuddly & affectionate. You need to be able to carry a conversation, be independent, motivated to get out and do just about anything!     I would like to think that my last few years of single life have taught me a few things about myself.I've learned that patience is always a virtue, but sometimes too much can cause problems.I've learned that compromise is important but you also need to not be as flexible.I've learned that laughter is essential in everyday life along with hugs and kisses and hand holding.And most of all I have learned that you must must must communicate, no communication leads to confusion, leads to sadness, leads to misunderstandings and then everyone gets hurt.I'm a single mom who is involved in my childs life. But you can't beat a nice quiet night in with a silly movie, a serious movie or just a plain old scary movie....and a nice bottle of wine. Spending time with that special someone is important to me, but I do realize that space is needed sometimes to regroup and breathe.I have chosen a serious relationship as my ultimate goal, but first ....gotta meet, gotta date, gotta see if we can even stand eachother. Unless of course someone has invented a time warp to get us past the awkward confusing part of dating and get to the good stuff!!

    What to say in this little white box ? Do I use up all the lines telling all about me?? Do I leave some details to the imagination, is this all on a need to know basis??
