I am on this sight because friends have recommended it- having met their special someone here.I am not into mind games, and am only interested in chatting with / meeting those that are wanting to find their special someone to take their journey with. I have children (2), and they are my world - but there is room for someone to share our adventures with. I am not looking for a Dad for them, as they already have one.I enjoying getting out and enjoying the festivals throughout the city & surroundings, BBQs with family & friends- often involves games of croquet, frisbie, badminton battles (net included). trips to parks for picnics, football tosses, or just out for walks.I am not wild & crazy by any means, but am known for last minute road trips- I have travelled to various provinces -Favorite summer activity- camping... In a tent, and I do not need to pack a blowdryer- yes, I am that kind of girl.I enjoy a wide variet of music, but country is my favorite. Movies? I enjoy a good comedy, action, romance- but don't do very good with the horror movies- will often watch from behind a pillow. What I look for in a man- Someone with a sense of humor, honesty, fun loving, caring, cuddly & affectionate. You need to be able to carry a conversation, be independent, motivated to get out and do just about anything! But most of all, someone that wants to be by my side.If what you have read has peeked your interest- then send me a message and let's talk and perhaps meet to talk some more and see if our journey's align. Meet for a coffee / drink, learn more about each other to see if there is a connection- enough interest for a 2nd date.

I thought, wrongly so, that i would be able to find my partner in crime at my local coffee shop, or at an aisle in the grocery store, or just walking down the street. I didn't, probably because of the fast pace we live in, we don't take the time to look up and take a really really good look around. So, Ive decided, with much coercion from my friends, to try meeting someone special the technological way. I don't have time for drama and don't relish in it. Im very lighthearted and love to laugh and joke around. I would love to find a companion and a partner in crime that does not take life too seriously. If you are married or looking for a one night stand, please carry on as I have no time for that garbage. And since i have a profile pic i expect to see a pic from you or no chatting :) Happy fishing!! Wings and beer??

Hi!I have a great career that is chugging along nicely, one that I enjoy and I appreciate the life it affords me. Like many others here, I have great friends and family (I swear, mine are better ;-) that I take the time to enjoy as much as I can. My appreciation of the arts, music and culture is vast and I love to enjoy them all locally as much as possible...my music taste leans on the Indie side and between friends, I have been known as the mixed playlist girl. So if we date and it doesn't work out, you will likely get a killer "mixed tape" out of the deal! I can be serious when appropriate, but friends who know me would say I am playful, light hearted and look for humour in daily life. I have been called a foodie (I could be called worse) and I enjoy experimenting with food and wine both in our fantastic city at large and at home in my kitchen. I love to cook but it is always more fun with a sous chef at my side and a glass of wine in my hand. I have traveled quite extensively which has only proven to me that there is so much more to see and experience.... I am in my happy place when exploring hidden gems of the world.) I enjoy being outside on the ocean, on the mountains or in the city. I love to snowboard and "surf"..see foodie reference above) to cuddled up to watch a good movie or an episode of the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Shameless or The Newsroom. My "fit" would be a man with a little edge- and by that i do not mean face-tattoo-edge - I mean witty and would feel comfortable at an indie concert or a wine tasting, and someone with varied life experiences.I am independent and self sufficient but I would like to meet that one man I can consider a partner in the true sense of the word - to take care of each other when one needs care, to share in life's realities, humour, dreams, hardships, and successes. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit. Something casual... Coffee shop or a beer on a patio... let's not make it over complicated, let's just meet and see where it goes from there. I think you can get a pretty good sense if you have a connection or not in a short period of time, so I like to keep the first meeting casual and then ....
